Tempted into dealing our Wildcards by yet another β€œmediocre” Gameweek, Granville and I go through almost the entire episode before Jonty reveals he’s weakened and gone β€œactive”. It’s a revelation that almost has us both logging off and reaching for our own panic buttons.

Before that dramatic finale, we find salvation via another bout of β€œrough the smooth”, cheering ourselves with tales of Gameweek totals which dip below even our miserable tallies.

We also take a further round of community questions, forcing me to β€œfess up” on Theo Walcott, while Granville laments Wayne Rooney’s form and the three of us tackle the merits of Mahrez, Ozil and loading up on City assets.

        There is if you have Kun and Sanchez, and while I'm on Aguero as my Capt, I don't find this choice between kun and Sanchez to be an easy one.

    Any reason why mostly picks Butland over Ruddy? I currently have Rudd(y) as a GK combo, if I were to get Butland in, who should be the backup? I do not really like GK rotation, nightmare from last season with Krul + Panti. Cheers!

          Downgrade 1 of your premium defenders, especially MU defenders, and upgrade your mid. Get someone cheaper for your 5th mid and treat as bench player in your team, only to provide cover in case your first XI not starting.

            then I'll have 1.7mil to play with. Who should I spend that on to upgrade? Payet for Ayew? How should I play it out?

            Honestly, there are not many sure-shot forward options in the premier league so I am not sure who to pick apart from Kun.

    I know rotation is a risk, but all of Diouf, Sakho and Mahrez have a bad fixture or two, so could be benched.

      Kolo is moving up faster, so is the more likely to get you (eventually) a double rise. On the other hand, Shaw is the more dependable starter. So long haul I would say Shaw, although really I would try to work my team so I could keep both.

      Shaw is an injury waiting to happen and has very deceptive stats - I recall him putting in More crosses than Baines in 13/14 but had no assists from them!

      Shaw does not have a good injury record so is a risk long term and United have one clean sheet (newcastle) after which their fixtures turn...Kolorov has better fixtures over the next few weeks but is subject to possible rotation with Clichy....maybe wait till last prices of the game week and then sell both for Kompany ( secure) and a 5 mil or below defender (Williams, Naughton, Francis etc)

      I like it. I would not make the moves you're considering because while Gomez make go up some more, he may also come soon if he loses his spot. Azpi would be good, but until Chelsea show it on the pitch, I'm not sure if take him right now. One opinion.

            He's looked good. Could keep his place....but might not. Speroni seems like he will be back in a couple of weeks, but he's not the future and McCarthy hasn't really put a wrong foot forward so far.

          I've got Myhill...and I back him fully. Not too sure on Foster news, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Myhill keep his spot. I think he and McCarthy is tidy. West Brom so far and above any other team defensively who offers us a 4.5 keeper.

      Well, I just wouldn't do it that way. Benteke is not a good prospect for the next three weeks--I intend to get him in GW 6 but not before. I am going 3-5-2, but even if you want a 3-4-3 I think you should get Gomis, enhance your defence (or get Silva), and plan for Benteke in GW 6.

    It is interesting that koeman named a strong side in the Europa league and it didn't include Cedric. I am not sure what that means for the premier league, if anything.

      Don't worry about it. The season I prioritised value was my worst season in the last 3 years. I got top 5k in the other 2 and my value was about 2-4 mil lower than most around here by the end.

    Thinking of bringing in Shaw for Francis for a -4 crazy? I got 57 last week and I'm on a total of 104 Francis is set to drop tonight and I can see Shaw rising again in the near future also I expect him to keep a clean sheet this week at home to Newcastle is Darmian a better shout? Or should I drop united all together and bring in Kolarov? I really see no other flaws in my team and I feel my current starter Cederic will fail to keep a clean sheet away at Watford. Should I take the hit? If so for who?
