    I'm playing:

    Myhill,
Clyne | Martin | Francis (targett)
    Mahrez | Silva | Pedro | Yaya
    Aguerp | Wilson | Costa

    I am tempted to do:

    Pedro > Sanches
    Clyne > Nyom

I would make this with 0.0 left in bank.

    Worth it?

I have Hazard, Sterling, Azpiliqueta and Aguero, and 1 free transfer.

Realistically, Aguero will either be ruled out or still doubtful for next weekend, Sterling could play midweek I suppose, but still feeling I should shift one of the Chelsea duo.

    a) Azpi to Shaw now, sell aguero if needed for -4
    b) Haz to Sanchez now, sell aguero if needed for -4
    c) Wait and see

    1. Dimen
      • 12 Years

Definately wait and see for now.

I'm leaning more towards b) after you've waited. Haz looks completely out of it, although I am expecting a Chelsea comeback next game.

I wouldn't sell Aguero even if out for next game.

Thanks. Just hard to see a chelsea clean sheet too, and with City and WBA defenders to choose from it seems I'm wasting cash all round.

My team is essentially Kolarov, Mahrez and 9 others to make up the numbers.

I wouldn't be so comfortable with Myhill.

There's no reason for Pulis to buy a GK if he already has Myhill and Foster in, also, why would Lindegaard swap United's bench for WBA's?

Lindegaard wasn't wanted by the club, was arguably 4th or 5th choice at United. He's further up the pecking order now but still on the bench.

I am still not comfortable though, as much as I want Myhill. There could come a time where both Myhill and McCarthy might not play and I don't think I wan to waste another transfer on a GK swap.

Lol every gk is safe until they make a mistake... just ask Joe Hart.

Myhill is nailed on 100% until foster returns, which could be after 5/6 gws, so you still have a few more clean sheets with Myhill.

The big question over the last couple of weeks is when is it time to get rid of the big hitters.

My question is - who exactly do you want to bring in? The big bandwagons - Mahrez, Gomis, Ayew, Kolarov are easy enough to fit in without worrying about raising funds.

If Aguero is ruled out I have no idea who I'd want to replace him except potentially Bony. If I get rid of Sanchez it would have to be for another Arsenal midfield lottery or potentially Pedro? Not all that fussed about him right now either (although might have to be sooner or later).

It's fine to discuss getting rid of these big money players who aren't performing to their value, but who are we replacing them with?

Benteke seems a sensible enough option. Liverpool do their best to make he doesn't score, but he still manages a goal. Decent fixtures too.

I'm on a WC and got Kun and Sanchez still.
The rest is a mix of good stats and good past outcomes.

      Butland (McCarthy)
      Francis Kolarov Prodl (Cedric/Bellerin)
      Mahrez/Barkley/Sanchez/Y Toure (Sinclair)
      Pelle/Aguero/Gomis

If Kun is out for a while then I really don't know who to bring in. Would look at more stats I guess.
Interesting to see what others say about this

Exactly, and what if they come into form? Do you leave money in the bank for a quick transfer back? I usually gradually eat away at any money in the bank.

Sanchez is staying for me but Hazard might be out for Coutinho and if Aguero is out at all the only logical replacement seems Bony to me.

Does anyone think Martial would be good replacement for Aguero for a few weeks?

I have a hunch Sturridge won't be far round the corner. From GW8-14 Liverpool have a horrific fixture list so you'd think they'd want him fit for that. To my mind that means they're going to want to give him some minutes in the next two games - Norwich (home) and Villa (home). Transferring him in would be risky but it might pay off.

I think that's the same plan here. Maybe when there's someone I want and my other players are still performing I'll think again but still have Payet who I can ship whenever.

Sanchez is not the one we are worried about. He will come good, that's sure. The problem is Hazard, Agüero, Costa, Fabregas, Rooney etc. Got rid of them all except Aguero and Sanchez. Still believe they'll explode someway down the line.

Replacing defenders with Kolarov/Kompany. Midfielders with Ayew, Mahrez, Silva. Forwards? They are all patchy.

Yeah Bolasie is the better player Andy. But Sako is the one scoring goals and getting points. Also Bolasie didn't start first few matches. Plus they would try to accommodate a forward among all those flair players and Sako/Zaha might get dropped.

I just want Payet to not blank this week so that I am able to monitor Palace for a week more. Else Payet would be the scapegoat for me.

I'm fancing Aguero = Yay > Martial + KDB. Also need 0.4m to double up WBA keepers for peace of mind.

I'll stick with Sanchez - unless Walcott finally nails it - Pedro and Benteke.

the key point for me why people are still struggling is the need to spend 100m in your squad still

the guy who is top of my mini league has jumped on all bandwagons and has 11.2m sat in the bank! I don't think we should be afraid to bank the cash until the time the big hitters are proving their worth again.

also I really think 4-4-2 is looking a much better formation this season.

those defenders just hoover up bonus points even in 2-0 or 3-0 wins now

It is the exact opposite situation for me: I'm going to keep them all. I might actually add Hazard to already having Sanchez & Aguero! I am in dead last in my league (I've never actually lost my ML) and I need to make up ground on 10 people. Only 1 of the other 9 have Aguero...only a couple have Sanchez. They are my best hope. I got the lowest score yet again this week though.
      Good luck to you guys.
