We take Fantasy Football seriously. So much so, myself, Granville and Jonty find time each week to join up online and natter semi-aimlessly about it. Some of you even go so far to watch and listen. We all take Fantasy Football that seriously.

That’s why we dedicate this episode of the ScoutCast to Fuzzy Warbles, whose passion for Fantasy Football drove him to scribe a long letter to the Premier League. In doing so, he raised his head above the parapet to gain the attention from the mainstream press and various Twitterati.

Predictably, that attention was somewhat confused as to why someone would care so much about a few points to muster an 800-word email.

We know why.

The three of us are more than happy to waste more words discussing “CedricGate”, the catalyst for Fuzzy’s irritation.

Before that, we analyse Gameweek 9, discuss the contrasting fortunes of Jamie Vardy, Anthony Martial and Eden Hazard, plus assess the Gameweek 11 fixture swing. We may have a few chuckles along the way, but we’re taking it very seriously.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first broadcast live on our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. You can view the full version on the larger movie player below.

For the edited audio version, you’ll need this link or the smaller player below.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to get news of every live ScoutCast episode.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hazard owners. Stick or twist?

I sold Mahrez in my wildcard for Wijaldum so felt sexy on Sunday.
Now feel like Mr Mahrez will come back on fire and burn me.

Hazard to Mahrez? Already have Jamie the V man

    Thoughts appreciated

have a strong front 8. i know it is a rotation nightmare, but could see one of the 8 (i.e. Sanchez or Mahrez) getting a rest Pelle, Vardy, Gomis, Haz, Sanchez, Mahrez, Payet, KDB

I thought someone would bite 😉

I agree, those 3 are insanely good, but Mata is certainly miles ahead of Coutinho in terms of quality and end product.

End product, yes. Coutinho is much better on the ball and using the space in front. But Coutinho is an #8 and Mata is a #10. They have different roles and I wouldn't compare them

juan mata is a world class footballer proven both on the international stage and premier league... coutinho apart from a handful of long range efforts that more often than not end up in the stand has done nothing whatsoever in the premier league champions league or internationally..

They need a solid goalkeeper (mignolet is just average), except clyne replace everyone at the back, keep lucas, coutinho, firmino, benteke and replace everyone else.. Ings loss was a big one as he just started showing some form..

Haven't seen it, but have heard it's good. Will have to add it to my watchlist.

I thought the Robocop re-make was ok as well.

Worst ones I have seen (other than Total Recall) recently are the Karate Kid, and Arthur (starring Russell Brand - no further questions your honour).

Though I get the feeling the re-make of Ben Hur next year is going to out-stink them all

To be very fair, the hype surrounding Klopp on here and the internet in general has been extreme. 2 draws so far, nothing too bad, and some of the reactions are excessive. But when will people learn this is what happens if you hype him up to be the messiah before the team have even kicked a ball?

And that's not to mention the extremists, the ones who either will take to Twitter and claim how absolutely delighted they are with that result, how much promise it shows for the future etc. or the ones who will start spouting about him being worthless as a manager.

In general, for the next while, whenever he wins he'll be God, whenever he loses (or even draws depending on opponent) he'll be rubbish.

I watched extended highlights and I know the lineup. That is poor Origi is main striker, the worst signing in France officially. What do you expect? Klopp is decent he just needs some signing and time. Firminho is back, Markovic in January apparently. If I was Liverpool fan would have been satisfied for now. He still hasn't lost it right?

Just took a look at the stats. You are right, although thats only after the red card. They were just wasteful. Shots 35-5, SiB 14-4. How can they _not_ win it? Look further: SoT 6-3. Hmm, curious. How about SoT for the Shots inside the Box? 3-3. We've got our answer.

Look a bit further yet and you find one guilty party for sure: Coutinho 7 shots, 5 from outside the box, just one on target (from outside, straight to the centre of the goal).

Sure. Those 14 shots inside the box would produce more than 1 goal most of the time.

I'm not all convinced by the defensive solidity on basis of this match, because of the early red card and the way Clyne conceded that goal (also, arguably, a failed pressing on midfield leading to that pass, but it is indisputable that Clyne fecked his man marking up in a big way).

    Who would you bench from:

Darmian Williams Richards? Or should I bring in a new defender up to 4.7 for Gomez?!

Ward is coming back soon, but not soon enough I think. I'm playing Richards ahead of Darmian this week but I'd go with Williams from that lot

I'm still a little confused how the fuzzy thing got so big. Is it because he writes about FPL regularly?

Quite a few emails to FPL were flying about this weekend from reading comments on here, mostly regarding assists (which was my query). I'm guessing not much fuss was made of these because they're "old" issues and the veterans kind of know where we stand in this area now. I'm still quite new to FPL (used to play Metro) btw. Learning pretty quick I hope 🙂

Liverpool will batter Southampton. You've got to remember Southampton will have eleven men which makes it easier.
Though koeman is clever so may order someone to pick up two early yellows
