Just don't start taking weird punts like I did to try to jump back ahead. I didn't really work out and I ended up at around 25k that year, which I would gladly take right now! Stupid captains.

If plan ahead can work a decent team and not have to cost yourself too many points to get him when he is fit - though I may wait a week or two to check he is back to fitness, but I am not going to make same mistake of thinking money better spent on whole team, I did that and then he racked up 25 points in the game after I transferred him out.
