Seems that if you whip enough crosses into the box and tap a ball to someone that scores out of nowhere despite being a defender in the losing team that's let in 2 goals, somehow you are the best player on the pitch.
I think his 5 interceptions and 7 clearances had to do with that more than his 0 completed crosses.

But they had no bearing on the result.
I think they only count _accurate_ crosses, so all the crosses he bumped over the top probably had no effect to his baps.
Not saying he didn't deserve the baps based on the present system, just that the system seems wrong.
But it's a game and when we're well informed about the system we shouldn't moan about the individual results it gives (moaning about the system itself, as in asking FPL to change the rules, is another thing).
