Oooh ahhh this is a toughy. As long as Sanchez is out I think I prefer Ramsey. Crucially this has now been said to be another 3 weeks and covers the back to back games at the Emirates vs Bournemouth and Newcastle
With Sanchez & Cazorla out, Ramsey has to play down the middle and Walcott has to play wide due to a lack of other players available for the roles. This helps Ramsey, getting played in by Giroud's hold up play, while it hinders Walcott who can go missing out wide and struggle to integrate himself into the more technically play coming through the middle. If you compare the two in the members area the stats difference is just incredible.Great summary Balders! Thank you.
Logically, even upon Sanchez return, unless Walcott plays up front he is going to remain out wide, with oil in the No.10 role.
I suppose the question mark is whether Ramsey is less able to make runs through the middle at that stage.
I'd already looked at the comparison tool, and the yes, the differential is stark. Despite that, this still feels like a coin flip. The unknown is that Walcott has only just got himself up to full match involvement following his injury, so will his stats improve?

Absolute joke how Sagna got 3 BAPS. Ozil had two assists and City conceded 2. It wasn't even a successful cross it was a pass. Someone else did the same last week with a deflection off him (can't remember who it was now) We need to go back to the panel assessing as using stats doesn't work.
But Ozil got points for the assists. Just because players make the last pass doesn't mean they should get any more BAPS than the other people making important passes.

Yup. Assists, goals and clean sheets are already rewarded before baps. No reason why the baps should automatically go to those who get assist and goals.
But defenders shouldn't be rewarded for conceding two goals and getting beat, above others who influence the game and result more. The best players in the game should get the points

Just watched the goals again on MOTD, should have done better for both goals conceded... Walcott jogged around him for the first and he gave the ball away for the second.

3BPs don't go to the best player, they go to the person with the best stats. And that's the way it is. Any BP system has flaws - at least this one is transparent.
People moaned about man in the stand as well. They should review the stats algorithm.

Played my all out attack this week and I'm actually pretty happy with it. Of Mahrez (c), Ozil, Barkley, De Bruyne, Ramsey, Vardy, Ighalo and Kukaku, only Ramsey and KDB didn't return anything and I wouldn't have benched either of them anyway. More likely I'd have benched either Barkley or Ighalo and played Moreno. That'll do and at least it's now out of the way. 😀

Just a thought on differentials. I see a lot of people doing things like dropping Mahrez as a differential (which is madness imo), or just neglecting players due to high ownership.
But surely a certain combination of high ownership players is itself a differential?
This week, all of my scoring players were above 30% ownership: Mahrez (30 pts, 65%), Ighalo (13 pts, 32%), Ozil (11 pts, 49%), Lukaku (6, 53%), Kane (6, 30%). The rest got 1 or 2 each.
However, my post-bap GW score will be 75, top few in my ML, and higher than all of my rivals.
According to FFF, only 2% of overall players (not incl dead teams) have this combo.
Seems to be best to just pick the players you think will score well and ignore the rest. Even with high ownership players, the combination and captain choice make a huge difference!No ones dropping Mahrez
I agree it's madness. But have seen at least 2-3 people getting rid in the last few weeks. Obviously a vast minority, but an extreme example of 'differential thinking'.
