Alexis Sanchez has a chance of returning in time for Arsenal’s trip to Stoke. Andy Carroll is ruled out for West Ham, Claudio Ranieri admits he’s still managing Jamie Vardy’s fitness, whilst Bournemouth’s Matt Ritchie remains a doubt for the home clash with Norwich.

Arsene Wenger has admitted he is undecided whether to “take a gamble” on Alexis Sanchez’ hamstring injury for the trip to Stoke. The Gunners new signing Mohamed Elneny is available for the Britannia clash, whilst Danny Welbeck is expected to return from injury in two-to-three weeks.

Claudio Ranieri has conceded that he continues to manage the fitness of both Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan, admitting “it’s difficult to say” when the former was last 100% fit after recent groin injury problems.

Scans have confirmed that West Ham’s Andy Carroll will be out for ”at least a month” with the hamstring problem that forced him off at Bournemouth. Victor Moses is available for the trip to Newcastle, whilst Cheikhou Kouyate is expected to return – Slaven Bilic revealed the midfielder wasn’t fully fit for the midweek match.

Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Ryan Mason, Clinton N’jie and Alex Pritchard remain sidelined for Spurs’ plum home clash with Sunderland.

Matt Ritchie is rated “50-50” for Bournemouth’s home encounter with Norwich after being forced off with a dead leg against West Ham in midweek.

James Morrison has been ruled out with a hamstring injury as West Brom travel to Southampton. Tony Pulis has confirmed that Jonas Olsson will be assessed.

Norwich have no new fresh injuries for their clash with Bournemouth, Alex Neil has confirmed. The Canaries boss has also revealed that new signing Ivo Pinto won’t be included in his weekend squad, whilst Gary O’Neil sits out the first of a three-match ban.

Roberto Martinez has revealed that Tom Cleverley is 50-50 to face Chelsea. James McCarthy is making good progress from injury but remains unavailable.

Sunderland’s new loan signing Dame N’Doye is not eligible for their clash with Spurs. The Senegal international has now left the country to finalise a work permit and is expected to be available for next weekend’s clash with Bournemouth instead.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Not decided. Very close, leaning towards Aguero. Don't like captaining a player in the early game.

I think goalkeepers are only really in trouble if they have an extended period of bad form or a new manager takes over.

He'll be given the chance to redeem himself over the next few GWs

I was impressed. He looks sharp and is making some good runs. Had a couple of shots but they were tame.

2fts & 0.8 in bank. Any thoughts appreciated.

    Original plan:
Save this week. Next week do Silva + Berty > Sanchez + Evans

    Possible new plan:
Silva > Payet now (and worry about getting Sanchez some other time and way)

    What you reckon?

Afternoon all. Could anyone spare a moment to offer a little advice please? I've been plummeting down the rankings for a few weeks now...

    Butland Ruddy
    Kolarov Bellerin Moreno Dawson Francis
    KDB Ozil Ramsey Mahrez Alli
    Lukaku Kane Ighalo

    2FT, 2.7 ITB

My rivals all have Aguero and are ~50-100 points ahead. Do I get him in or leave him out as a differential? Maybe I can get Payet or Sanchez?

KDB, Ozil, Mahrez (vc), Ayew, Alli
    Aguero (c), Lukaku

bench = Deeney, Monreal, Dawson, Hennessy (gk)

    Hi all, Happy Friday!

Was wondering what you would do with this bunch of chancers?
I'm doing spectacularly badly this season. Every decision i make appears to be the wrong one.
    Any suggestions welcome.

Perhaps diversify your GK / Def from Stoke and Crystal Palace and bring in another Def from the top 6. Stoke have some tough fixtures coming and Crystal Palace form is questionable.
