Gameweek 24 delivers two final rolls of the dice before we retrain our sights on the weekend’s action. Everton cross swords with Newcastle United as they strive to card their first victory in six outings, whilst in the other 7.45 pm kick-off, Watford host a Chelsea outfit that’s not tasted defeat since Gameweek 16.

The Toffees’ attack flattered to deceive over the previous four Gameweeks, ranking joint-second-bottom for shots on target (11) and recording the second-worst shot accuracy (22.9%). Those Fantasy managers who’ve sourced attacking assets from Newcastle will certainly draw encouragement from the fact that no team has shipped more goals at home (22) than Everton. On that note, the Magpies placed top for shots inside the box (44) and second for shots on target (24) between Gameweeks 20-23, which bodes well for their trip to Goodison Park.

Chelsea are a different proposition under Guus Hiddink’s reign, as evidenced by the fact they charted joint-top for goals (nine) and big chances (nine) over the previous four Gameweeks. Furthermore, only three teams surpassed their haul of accurate attempts (18) across that stretch. Having ended a four-match losing streak with a win over Newcastle in the previous round of fixtures, the Hornets will look to improve their threat in the final third, given that they’ve registered the joint-second-fewest goals (three) and shots inside the box (20) over Gameweek 20-23.

after some thought, if Lukaku is fit he could do alright against Stoke. They look a shambles without ShawX at the back.

The only player i'd consider trading him for is Vardy, who has the roughest of rough next 2 games. Worth sleeping on at least. (thanks Syd!)

Many folks were saying he looked awful prior to being injured though. So, he hasn't scored in several gw's and he's got some form of injury. To me, that does not add up to a lot of optimism.

Vardy has a tough next two, but as a Leicester fan I'm backing him to score some points. Does well on the counter.

Thinking that after tonight, Lukaku's time may be up, if I can be tempted by a good replacement. Who to pick from the below? Thanks for any help!

    a. Vardy
    b. Austin
    c Valencia
    d. Afobe
    e. Naismith

Afobe has certainly had a formidable start, but Vardy would be a pretty safe choice.

Agreed. Vardy just so safe. Will counter in goals against the big guns now.

Had a good week in UFPL-my lowest scoring player after yesterday was Sanchez with 4 points. Subbed him out for Barkley and gained another 12 points, 104 in total.

I fell asleep watching the Watford/Chelsea game. Woke up at FT and find out Barkley scored two penalties. My reaction: meh. I come on here and discover what my reaction would have been had I been following the games/scores live.

Moral of the story: pick a match to watch and try to forget about FPL during the 90 minutes. I'm sure we all have lives outside FPL.

Hey guys, thoughts on the following WC team?

    Forster / (Hennessey)

    Ivanovic / VvD / Jagielka / (Simpson / Smith)

    Sanchez / Ozil / Firmino / Alli / (Lingard)

    Aguero / Kane / Ighalo

The olny players I've kept from my original team is: Ozil, Alli, Aguero & Kane.

Walker & Ighalo > Cedric & Vardy? (Walker > Cedric gets you that 0.3).
