He is a rotation risk, but it's a toss up between him and ulloa. Or might just play safe with mitro and his 1 pointer.

Can any Watford fans tell me why prodl was the only double starter this week in defence? With a goal to his name, would you recommend him as your back line choice?

Im not a Watford fan - but I watched the game today. Watford rested a number of first team regulars ahead of their FA Cup semi in the weekend.

Prodls goal was very nicely taken - but I think that it was his only goal for the season (you might want to check that). The whole Watford defence looked pretty terrible today to be honest, but of a bad bunch I thought Cathcart was probably the best FPL option.

Reached 41k another positive 20k swing, GW score of 127 isn't too great, but hopefully my season ends on a satisfactory note, been a horrible season in general, was outside 100k till GW 29, not getting any breaks, all of my 'moments' this season have been negative ones

GW 8- captained payet over aguero
Martial- I've got just one assist from him the whole time

I miss last few season's Austin hattricks downing's hauls (such moments turn your season around & you know it's your season) & ofcourse Suarez in a DGW is my favourite moment

So I think going from 109k in GW 29 to 41k by now is worth a brag

Defo! Just dropped Lukaku after I gave him chance after chance over the last three weeks. Even if he plays well, Everton are in freefall, much better options with only 3 rounds left, no time to muck around anymore. I'm talking about Pelle, Sturridge, even Ighalo

you know my weak spot. Mane is one of my favorite players to watch. With that said, I've trusted him way too many times and have always been let down. I currently have
        Darlow
        Sakho Bellerin Simpson
        Coutinho Firmino KDB Sanchez
        Kun
        (Robles, Delaney, Lanzini, Smalling)

    Why this Defoe bangwagon?
I understand they are fighting for their lives but have you guys seen his fixtures?
I can't see them scoring against Arsenal, who are still fighting for a top 3 spot, even if the latter conceded an unlucky thunderbolt strike in the last minute against Palace.

    1. Top 210 Club

      1. El-Kloppico
        • 10 Years

Yes but DGW are against Chelsea and Everton..
I think Everton might well recover after their FA Cup, in which they are supposedly concentrated.

Anyway, good luck for those getting him.. there are better options around though.

Martinez post hanging on a string.
They might be concentrated on FACup to save their season, that's why they didn't give up a fight yesterday.

Their fixtures looks good to me except Arsenal.

      1. El-Kloppico
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

Deeney has better fixtures even though he's not in good form.
As Flores said, they are only focus on the FACup. By GW36, he might be a good bet, with AVL

    3. Mr. O'Connell

Watford, Everton, Chelsea, Stoke. tough on paper, yes. These sides have been very poor of late and the former may yet get to the FA Cup final which should help Defoe's prospects.

Great form and fighting for life. An excellent combination.

Arsenal isn't the greatest fixture but Sunderland are at home so they could easily score. After that he has stk, CHE, EVE, wat

On a serious note though, he'll start GW35. The lad has played both games in GW34 and very likely to start 35, so I reckon he's the best pool mid pick.

    A) Smalling, Lukaku -> PVA, Kane (-4)
    B) Mignolet, Lukaku -> Darlow, Kane (-4)
    C) Smalling, Lukaku,Delaney -> PVA, Walker, Kane (-8)

    A) would mean playing with 11 this week
    B) 10 this week, but have Robles also, for DGW37
    C) 11 this week

22 points off the 10k mark. Sanchez (c), Bellerin and (hopefully) Gabriel to play tonight.

    A) You'll get in the top 10k tonight, don't worry.
    B) you'll get closer, but you won't hit 10k this year.
    C) you'll probably get in the top 10k by the end of the season.

Very difficult to tell whether Klopp will play Studge or Firmino up front. Studge might start and play 45 to 60 minutes ......?

If he plays 60min, then its worth getting him, should be sufficient for him.
After the hour mark, he struggles anyway.

I'm not sure Liverpool will be quite so revved up on Sunday as they were last night. Nothing to play for .... except pride and to avoid injuries. If Studge or Firminio was guaranteed a game I'd probably bring one of them in.

    Lukaku + Coutinho > Kane + Willian? (for -4pts)

        Thinking of the coming DGW.
Willian was nailed before he picked an injury..
Now that he is back, isn't he nailed anymore?

Not sure about Willian, never liked him as an FPL option and Chelsea have nothing to play for now and will suffer heavily from rotation.

I did managed to get some nice haul from him this season though.

He's not consistent. Main goal threat is set pieces.

And as I mentioned, rotation + Chelsea's lack of anything to play for should put you off alone 🙂

morning dzzz..any idea on what to do here? 1FT and 0.9m itb

    darlow ---- robles
sakho bellerin gabriel clichy --- smalling
sanchez coutinho nasri bolasie ---- payet
    kun mitrovic ---- martial

    - will just hope that somehow nasri gets fit for a few mins..bolasie obvious person to go with a blank and without a future dgw

A: bolasie >> khazri / willian / loftus cheek / milner (initial plan)
B: clichy + bolasie >> Pva + any of mids listed above (-4)

cant think of any other options

I'm voting A if not B, appreciate your thoughts though:

    Migs
    Gabriel Sakho Simpson PVA Delaney*
    Sanchez KDB Firmino
    Aguero Mitrovic

    Darlow Lukaku Lanzini Payet
    1ft and 0.1itb

    A) Field 10 and save FT
    B) Take a one week punt on Lukaku >Pelle
    C) Take a hit to bring in Kane for Lukaku. Possibly Lukaku/Mitrovic for Defoe/Kane
    D) Something else

As you've said below, no one week hits at this stage of the season. Hits only for players you believe will deliver for the remainder of the season.

C is well worth the hit in my book.

Excited about my GW35 team already. Even though it's cost me a -8 hit, I think I should still be on for another green...

    Hart
    Bellerin - Fuchs - Sakho - Simpson
Sanchez - De Bruyne - Alli
    Aguero - Kane - Sturridge

    Gomes - Gabriel - Payet - Lanzini

    Do you concur??

So after yet another mediocre GW

    Have this team to start

    Darlow
    Bellerin Gabriel Simpson Sakho
    Coutinho KDB Sanchez Milner
    Kun Mitrovic*

    Robles Lukaku* Payet Fosu*
    0.7ITB 1FT

    Should i do
Lukaku + Mitrovic --» Kane + Defoe(-4) or Save FT as is it viable to take out future DGW player Lukaku and also wont Mitro play more now that Cisse played horribly ??

    Thanks

Just seen this, and your reply above. I'm reluctant to take any hit but that means either fielding 10 or a one week gamble with Pelle. At this stage in the season I'm not happy to bring in and take out players for one game

Which is great to hear, considering triple captain looked to be destroying our DGW initially.

I had Sakho and Coutinho deliver handsomely for me in their second game
