Owing to the handful of postponed fixtures, Saturday’s action culminates in a trio of mid-afternoon match-ups. With their double Gameweek 37 on the horizon, Liverpool will be under the closest scrutiny as they play host to Newcastle United.

The Reds have flourished as an attacking unit across their last four outings, ranking joint-top for goals (11), top for attempts (85), joint-second for shots inside the box (45) and top for shots on target (32). Moreover, they fashioned 10 more key passes (67) than the rest of the field. Ally this with the fact that the Magpies place top for goals conceded (39) in away clashes and Jurgen Klopp’s side could be set for another high-scoring performance.

Bournemouth look to avoid their third straight home loss as they welcome a Chelsea outfit that tasted defeat in their past two fixtures. The Cherries ranked joint-second-bottom for big chances (three) and third-bottom for shots on target (nine) across their last four outings, underlining their modest goal threat. Nonetheless, the Blues have conceded six goals and the joint-fourth-most big chances (seven) in their quartet of encounters, so they’re clearly susceptible at the back.

Southampton travel to face an Aston Villa unit that have lost their last nine fixtures. Those managers who who’ve recruited from Saints’ attack ahead of this favourable head-to-head will be slightly concerned that only four teams have recorded fewer goals on their travels (14) than the south-coast club. That being said, the Villains have been abysmal at home since the turn of the year, shipping 17 goals in five clashes at Villa Park.

Curious. Why pay the premium for Cresswell over someone like Ogbonna? Feel like it's trendy here to pay for the more premium defender, but for what? ..a slim chance at an attacking return? They're both nailed..

Ogbonna 3.16 pts/90 mins played, Cresswell 3.93 pts/90 mins played. If you have the extra 0.8 makes sense but otherwise you're still good with Oggy

Don't think the chase is happening since I have 3 players that didn't play :< (Sakho, Nasri, Pelle)
4 Left for me: Bellern, Sanchez, Simpson, Gabriel

6 Left for him: Koscielny, Huth, Sanchez, Alli, Mahrez, Kane

Here's hoping Bellerin scores a hat trick.
