Sadio Mane goes into Liverpool’s trip to Burnley as a doubt following a shoulder injury in training. Arsene Wenger will be without both Aaron Ramsey and Alex Iwobi for the trip to Leicester City, while Mark Hughes confirms that Jack Butland won’t be risked against Manchester City. Here’s a summary of the known teams news so far…

Ryan Bertrand remainssidelined for Southampton’s trip to Old Trafford this evening due to an ongoing knee complaint. Claude Puel has confirmed that Jose Fonte is in contention to start after stepping up his fitness in training this week.

Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Alex Iwobi (thigh) have been ruled out until after the international break after they were forced off injured against Liverpool last weekend. Arsene Wenger has conceded he may have to gamble on the fitness of Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, though won’t start all three. The Gunners boss revealed that Koscielny is the likeliest of the trio to feature in his first XI.

Eddie Howe has confirmed he has “no major concerns” on the injury front as Bournemouth make their way to West Ham on Sunday.

Club record signing Steven Defour could be in line for a start at home to Liverpool, reckons Sean Dyche. Ashley Barnes remains sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst the on-loan Jon Flanagan cannot face his parent club.

Mark Hughes has this morning ruled Jack Butland out of a return against Manchester City, whilst Glen Johnson also remains sidelined with a thigh complaint. Shaqiri is also a concern after suffeirng a calf problem in the 1-1- draw with Middlesbrough on the opening day.

Alan Pardew has also updated us this morning with news that both Joe Ledley and Wayne Hennessey are “fitness concerns” ahead of the trip to White Hart Lane. The Eagles boss also indicated that Yohan Cabaye, Jordon Mutch, and James McArthur would likely travel having missed the season opener with West Brom.

Chris Smalling and Paul Pogba are back in contention after serving out one-match suspensions, though Jose Mourinho has admitted that the latter is unable to play 90 minutes due to a lack of match fitness. Jesse Lingard is also available after recovering from a foot problem.

Hugo Lloris is sidelined with a hamstring injury as Spurs welcome Palace to the Lane. Mousa Dembele sits out the fourth of a six-match ban, whilst Heung Min Son has returned from the Olympics and will be assessed.

Sadio Mane remains doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to Burnley with a shoulder injury sustained in training. James Milner and Daniel Sturridge are back in full training, whilst Lucas also has a chance of making it. Mamadou Sakho has stepped up his recovery but is expected to miss out again.

Ronald Koeman will make a late decision on Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Williams’ fitness for Everton’s trip to the Hawthorns. The Belgian returned to full training yesterday without any problems, whilst Williams has stepped up his match fitness over the past week. Seamus Coleman remains absent, though Yannick Bolasie is in line for a debut.

Swansea’s record signing Borja Baston is sidelined with a minor thigh problem. Neil Taylor is likely to miss out again as he builds up his fitness, whilst Leon Britton (illness) is doubtful. Ki Sung-yeung is back in contention to face Hull, with Francesco Guidolin hinting at a start for Gylfi Sigurdsson.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Impossible to tell. They bought Brad Smith for 6m to sit on the bench.

Coutinho the first player to double rise this season apparently. More experienced players will probably avoid for now, but this could also end up badly, if he proves himself as a more consistent player.

Indeed and it's quite likely to happen actually...and just when he becomes a respected option here, he does nothing for 2 months.

I'm happy not to have him and to own Mane instead.
I'm holding despite his injury as I believe he'll be significantly better than Coutinho over the season

Yeah, after deadline and once we have seen what happens in the United game, the Ibra issue will be a bit more clear. He will only rise tomorrow am. You will have 2FT's and some time to assess, before making the moves.

          Vardy vs weak gunners backline
          Alli at home to Palace

          I am most definitely saving.

Anyone got any theories on what Bolasie means for Everton? Considering shipping redmond to Deulofeu\Mirallas based on fixtures and loving a punt. Am I being silly and I should hold on to my free transfer?

Why in gods name would you want to sell Redmond?

Its a punt, my team is in great shape atm and I felt like Everton were pretty impressive. I know its a weird one but i got a hunch.

I'd save the FT and reassess next week 🙂

Most people are forced into transfers, if your team is in great shape then no need to take the risk. It's a loooong season.

Thoughts on my current team for gameweek 2, swappd out Austin for Carroll so far

    GK: Dea (Valdes)

DEF: Valencia, Stones, Williams (Van Dijk, Morgan)

MID: Hazard (C) , Lamela, Firmino, Deulofeu (Redmond)

    STR: Carroll, Vardy, Negardo

    Hi all

Wondering should I make some changes.

    Foster (jaku)

    Shaw walker amat stones (friend)

    Mahrez Firminio Tadic (Townsend leko)

    Kun (c) Kane gray

    0m in bank

    Almost settled on saving transfer
Should I play Townsend over Gray/defender?
Was even thinking maybe Townsend to someone, ramirez/bolasie.
Feel as if I need Ibra , trying to resist!

Dunno why I picked leko , should I replace him this week?

    Many thanks.

    Good day!

In addition to Stones, Shaw and Foster at the back, who would you play this gameweek?

    A) Friend against Sunderland (a), or
    B) Koné against Middlebrough (h)

Currently, I’m leaning towards Koné since Sunderland is playing at home. Reasonable?

    Thanks,

So, my moves this week were:

Oscar, Ayew and Kane ---> Hazard, Costa and Lamela for -8

I'm feeling a little frisky after a good GW1, could come back to bite me if Kane does well.

    Jaku (Heaton)
Valencia Friend Stones (Francis [2] Fuchs [3])
Mane Hazard Redmond Routledge (Capoue [1])
    Kun (C) Ibra (VC) Musa
