Welcome to theΒ FFS UEFA Champions League 2016/2017 results day where we find out which managers have advanced to the second stage of qualifying rounds.
After a strong opening Gameweek across the board, many managers were contemplating the burning question of whether to bring in a certain Swedish striker, who hit the ground running in the opening fixtures, whilst others were content to just sit tight and have faith in their initial team selection. The results for the first qualifying round can be found here.
The average gameweek score was quite high this round, with the highest score reaching a grand total of 86 achieved by Wachu.
It was not a good day for the Fantasy Football Scout moderating team asΒ Jonty, Athletico Timbo, Roscola and TorresMagicΒ were all unfortunately unable to make it past the first hurdle. The onus now falls on Az and Spencer to represent and carry them throughout the competition.Β Elsewhere, last year’s semi-finalistΒ Irish MadridistaΒ successfully made it through to the next round of qualifying.
Lady Luck was shining on a few participants this round, most notably for Doosra, who had Ibrahimavic bring home the win when his captain Payet failed to play due to injury, and also for Jay, who went through on a coin toss.
