Dugout Discussion – Sunderland vs Everton

Gameweek 4 comes to its conclusion this evening as Sunderland welcome Everton to the Stadium of Light.

Both sides roll up in contrasting form – whilst the Black Cats have yet to win, their visitors are unbeaten so far under new manager Ronald Koeman.

Two goals in the first three means Jermain Defoe is the man most likely to help David Moyes get one over his former club.

At the other end of the pitch, Patrick van Aanholt netted in his previous home appearance and Jordan Pickford’s owners are boosted by another start for the 4.0-price keeper.

For the Toffees, Ross Barkley is by far the most popular FPL pick, sitting in over 18% of squads.

With Koeman’s side set for an excellent run of fixtures, this evening’s match allows us the opportunity to also scout the likes of Leighton Baines, Romelu Lukaku and potentially even Kevin Mirallas, who starts for the fourth straight fixture under the Dutchman.

      I think has something to do with the number of transfers you made. Failing that someone said it rests on your FPL ID number, seems unlikely to me, but basically the longest serving FPL player will be ahead according to that poster, can't remember who it was.

    I have no regrets in having swapped a striker in and out with an eight point hit when that striker is Lukaku, unfortunately I didn't do that this week aha.

    Lukaku gas scored three here because he basically hasn't been marked. It was like the sunderland defenders couldn't see he was on the pitch.

    I doubt other teams will be so utterly shockingly bad
