Hello and welcome to the latest update from the FFS UEFA Champions League,where we find out theresults from the group stages. The link to the groups and results so far can be found here. 

It has been a very exciting tournament so far. Last year’s winner Lucy continues to have a difficult time in Group A and will need more luck  if she wants to have any chance at protecting her title, whilst Nicklearse1983 has usurped Timpgoodwin at the top of the group.

Last year’s finalist HvT  has finally got some points on the board as he picks up his first win in Group B, whilst Englands Number 1 beat Sunny by a single point to put himself tied at the summit of the group.

In Group C, Liber and Chris Waddle are still level at the top of the table, with both of them picking up their third straight win.

Meanwhile, Group D sees Fantasy Football Scout Moderator Spencer at the peak of the table, continuing to go undefeated and earning himself a spot in the knockout rounds. Zombie continues his good run by picking up his third win of the tournament. He just needs a single point in the next two games to go through to the final rounds.

Over in Group E, Invertebrate is the second player to secure qualification into the Knockout rounds, picking up his fourth consecutive win of the tournament.  Second place looks quite close as Vs10, Jay10 and Kinnear are all in contention.

It’s nailbiting in Group F too, as Minty picked up his first loss of the tournament. He still remains at the top of the table but will have to secure another win to have peace of mind.

Lastly, both Groups G and H are closer than ever, with two teams tied on nine points a piece, with third place on six points. There is everything to play for in the final two games and it will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious.
