Gameweek 14 comes to its conclusion this Monday evening as Middlesbrough welcome Hull City to the Riverside Stadium.

‘Boro’s Alvaro Negredo is the most popular Fantasy Premier League player on show tonight – the Spaniard is owned by just less than 14% of managers after netting twice in last week’s 2-2 draw at Leicester.

Aitor Karanka’s side have mustered just one clean sheet in the previous ten yet will be optimistic of defensive returns, bearing in mind that Hull have scored just once in their last three road trips.

With the fixtures set to turn in their favour from Gameweek 17 onwards, the Teesside team offer us the chance for some early festive scouting in the 8pm kick-off.

Roberto Snodgrass is the Tigers’ likeliest source of returns.

The Scot has produced more than twice the number of FPL points than any team-mate, though has managed just one goal on his travels so far.

Having conceded 15 times in their last four road trips, it’s fair to say that Mike Phelan’s side face a tough task to chalk up defensive returns tonight.

Not sure if someone's already shared this, but FM has now included a Hard Brexit scenario from 2019 onwards - basically disbarring/hugely limiting transfers in and out of Europe in the game

This guy is quite angry about it:
    http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/football-manager-2017-game-ruined-by-brexit-complains-angry-gamer-in-brutal-one-star-review-a3404201.html

First Toblerone, now this. Talk about bringing the point home 🙂

Players come to England as it is from outside the said corupt economic union without a problem why should this change post British freedom?

I think it's got to do with the free movement of workers - it requires visas in the game and there's a limited number of slots only.

Basically changes the easy 'he moved from x to UK, medical and fee negotiation outstanding' situation

Would be very good for English players though, which is a plus.

After Ramirez with the 3, very close between Fabio, Chambers, Gibson and Barragan for the other 2. 2 bps between them.

@DF...a few lads in our local club ran a similar game for a while. They took loads of hits every week and only counted the GW score. It never even occured to them about the hits. In fact they didn't even do it every week just in fits and starts.

They were just Gambloonies who used the game to make a team sometimes.

Exactly that. Massive pots generated - way out of my league. Looked like fun though.
I assume the reason the total number of players increasing throughout the season is connected to folk playing similar games.

        Is this worth (-4)?

        Out: Lovren, Firmino, Austin

        In: Alonso, Can, Costa

Pieters or Evans, both rough fixtures upcoming.

Holebas has some better games and is moire of an attacking threat than the other two
