Saturday’s events continue with a batch of five afternoon kick-offs with Fantasy managers likely to be focused on events at Wembley Stadium.

Spurs host Stoke City with Harry Kane backed by 1.1 million managers as the leading captain pick for Gameweek 16.

This looks to be a make or break encounter for Kane’s Fantasy fortunes. He has blanked in eight of 14 starts so far and, more significantly, he’s produced goals and points in just two of his seven home outings.

Up against a Stoke City defence that have shipped 30 goals – second only to West Ham (32) – and allowed the most big chances (35) this season, Kane will surely get opportunities to underline his heavy-hitter status and restore the faith.

Meanwhile, Burnley’s popular defensive options will collide with Watford’s Richarlison at Turf Moor in a clash that will divide Fantasy managers. The Brazilian has returned a goal or an assist in six of his seven away trips so far, though he now faces a backline that has conceded just three goals in home matches. Ben Mee – owned by 13.7% – misses out for Sean Dyche’s side, while Matt Lowton is also sidelined.

Elsewhere, Huddersfield host Brighton at the John Smith’s Stadium with the visitors’ Pascal Gross the most popular Fantasy asset on show. The German is backed by 21.2% but has just a single return – his goal against Stoke in Gameweek 12 – from his last five Gameweeks.

Crystal Palace entertain Bournemouth at Selhurst Park with the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Wilfried Zaha drawing attention, while at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea City face a crunch contest with West Brom. Surprisingly, Tammy Abraham – owned by 11.1% – is benched by Swans’ boss Paul Clement in this one.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

First time all season my captain has gotten two goals. Decided to captain Kane every week after missing out on his Liverpool haul.

    O, what a feeling...

Genuinely so sick of picking the wrong captains. Every week it's a 50/50 near enough and I get it wrong. Salah over Hazard last week, Hazard over Kane this week. It's cost me over 120 points this season getting these 50/50's wrong.

Play the fixture.. Kane had the lowest odds on scoring a goal. He was the obvious option

Kane is near enough the lowest odds every week, it hasn't helped him at home before now except for Liverpool.

Pick one and stick! Missing out is inevitable at times but you WILL get the points when they do well? This is my strategy after getting frustrated with what you're describing.

Maybe do some more research on previous results with both teams. And also the player.

Spurs have a very good record against Stoke.

Kane was rested midweek and despite spurs recent woes he's been their shining light so it was inevitable that he would haul today

I obviously did, I always do. The guy has been blanking for weeks and Hazard has been in great form, especially away from home. Kane has been in poor form at home. West Ham 11 conceded at home in 6 games, Chelsea scored 15 away in 7. Stoke conceded 15 in 7 at home but Spurs had only scored 9 at home before today... I did a lot of research, it was a 50/50. I picked wrong.

It's not just previous results. Look forward. If Spurs lost today their in 7th position. Theyre a top 4 team, that's where they belong.

West Ham really turned things around against City and Chelsea had a tough tough game midweek. Spurs had a rest.

It may sound like hindsight to you now but I don't feel it is

Hmm yeah fair enough. Probably should have looked more at recent West Ham results. Just was viewing them as the leaky team they are. Think I'm just going to go with bookies odds now unless I have a hunch as they'll just do all that research for me.

Swapped Kane for Hazard and Coutinio, Captained Salah. Decided to stop thinking about him and just use the money elsewhere. Of course punished this week, depending on Cout. Still, resting easier having made a decision to stick to, DGW aside.

Can't pick the right captain. That's over 30 points I've lost in three weeks by getting the C and VC the wrong way around. At least I've owned the players that have scored well though.
