Ashley Young’s brace at White Hart Lane has sparked a renewed interest in the Man United winger, fuelled by a slew of obliging fixtures in the coming weeks. Fantasy managers are flocking back to the former Villa man, hoping he can replicate his match winning feat against Spurs and re-establish himself as a top level Fantasy talent, having suffered a string of frustrating injuries this term.

    Blimey. Now I have Kelly, Kompany, Sorensen, Dyer and Sessegnon all out and have no free transfers left! No WC either. What a week. And the league leader 30 points ahead of me has his WC and only Kelly out. Just when I was confident of catching him too.

    Kompany to Enrique (assuming we hear news that Kompany is out)
    Dyer to Myaichi / Siggy

    for an 8 point hit allowing me to field XI. worth it?

    I'm on my WC but wanted to keep Kompany. Of course now I'm gonna have to replace him, what do you think the best option would be: double up on Liverpool defence, or United? Or maybe Sagna as Arsenal have some favourable fixtures coming up.

      Sagna is interesting punt. He is so attacking now a days. It is time go do something different IMO. Doubling on Liv is the safe option

      I'd double on Liverpool for the DGW, who else apart from Evans would you go for in the united back 4?

      Jones/Smalling aren't nailed on, Evra is expensive and so is Ferdinand, who also probably won't play every game

      I reckon a Spurs defender is a good idea from about 2 weeks time, or it might be worth taking a punt on or BAE now.

      Evans/Skrtel/Kaboul is a good first choice back 3

        I have Evans/Skrtel/Kompany/Caulker/Simpson. The obvious choice to double up on United would be Jones, but at the moment I'm more inclined in getting Sagna in for Kompany. Waiting until tomorrow as no one will rise/fall tonight for some wisdom maybe 🙂

          Yeah only thing to consider is Pool could well have a bit of a mare of a GW. I feel your pain with Simpson on your bench, I'm in the same position. Would it be your first hit this week? If so then I'd say it was worth it, if not think very hard on it.

              If it was me I'd put my faith in Senderos. With Kelly out and Hughes doubtful he has a great chance of playing and getting a CS. 8 points is a heck of a lot to pull back, even with 2 Pool games.

      i think id play senderos, i have kelly so i may double on liverpool def for an extra hit, i guess they could make their hit points back if they just turn up so youve lost nothing (not counting for getting thrashed, yc rc or og of course lol)

      Calf injury could mean any number of things, so no-one can offer a proper timeframe.

      Depends how bad it is. When I did mine last season I couldn't put any weight on it for days, let alone walk. Like hammys, there is grade 1, 2 and 3. If it's a bad tear it can take 3-6 months. If it's a slight strain, 7-10 days

      I wouldn't get Carra, he'll be dropped again in a couple of weeks, and in the meantime his place is threatened by Coates

    Ok, I have Kelly-Kompany-Caulker-Evans-Simpson and already having a -4 hit (Roon+Pilk).

    I can afford any Liv def for Kelly or Komp but should I do it for a -8 hit or play the 3 DFs left?

    Williamson a better option than Simpson for a Newcastle defender?

    Is only 4.2 vs. 4.6 for Simpson, but I have Simpson and would only get 4.3 (but the 0.1 is often invaluable)

      Williamson is nailed on, Simpson has some attacking threat, work out if the 0.1 will actually make a difference to your team, if not then don't bother..

    Help needed with my dilemma
    have taken a 4 point hit this week so should I use wildcard now to get rid of Kompany and Aguero for 5.5 million defender and Rooney thus getting my -4 points back or hold onto WC for later...

      to me I would wait on the wild card if thats all you want to change, There might come a point where you need to get more players out or get some new ones in. why not just play kelly skrt and evans? rooney has good fixtures to come might as well wait

    Well, that settles it then. Kompany -> Skrtel on my WC. Done.

    Now this just leaves A Young or Nani. Reckon this decision could be as big as who to captain from RVP, Rooney and Suarez.. Currently on Nani and Suarez - thoughts?

      nani hasn't been perfoming as of late, but at the same time suarez hasn't peformed amazing in.. well.. the whole season so far. haha And I say that as a liverpool fan. I would probably go with rooney, because unless suarez for the first time this season scores in each game I don't think he will outscore either rooney or RVP
