Top 10k managers wait to pile in on Spurs assets

Gameweek 14 could be the calm before the storm, as the season template is more dynamically evolving now.

Fantasy managers only have one month left to use their first Wildcard if they still have it, and many were waiting to unleash it for the busy December period.

As the figure show, so far 79.39% Wildcards have been used in the top 10k, which means we can expect to see more than 20% more deployed in the coming month.

Probably many of those will be played within the first week of December to capitalise on the nice run of fixtures awaiting Spurs and Arsenal.

The percentage of Wildcards in Gameweek 14 though is as low as 1.4% but that’s still the most common chip used this week.

The Wildcarders this week seem to have overlooked Spurs assets, with the focus being to bring in as many Manchester City attackers as possible.

We see that Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane are among the most selected players in Wildcards this week. To be able to fund this wildcard team, it seems like Mohamed Salah is the scapegoat as he moves out of the most selected Wildcard team.

However, Salah is still currently owned by around 60% in the top10k, and with more wildcards coming next trying to fit many big hitters, whether to keep him or not is a question to think about. Salah has got only 7.27% captaincy percentage this week as there are a plethora of big hitters with nice fixtures. Aguero leads the way with 50.38% then Sterling and Eden Hazard come second and third with 23.57% and 11.46%.

This splitting between top 10k managers could prove vital to rank changes this week as the three main captains all actually have some rotation risks looming around them.

The effective ownership this week is split too with Aguero the only player with bigger than 100% effective ownership of 131.53%

Aguero: 131.53%
Alonso: 83.61%
Hazard: 76.15%
Robertson: 72.72%
Salah: 67.2%
Sterling: 66.82%
Arnautovic: 64.7%

Meanwhile, despite the impressive win against Chelsea, Spurs assets are still not very much owned yet among the top managers. Harry Kane is actually the Spurs player with the most effective ownership of just 2.85%.

Arsenal players are in the same boat with Alexandre Lacazette (3.17% EO) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2.98%) being their most owned players. The two teams actually face one another in the most important derby this week but will have favourable fixtures in December.

How much their ownership is going to go up in the coming weeks is yet to be seen, but many big hitters (Salah, Hazard, Aguero etc) might be on borrowed times in top 10k manager teams if they keep underperforming given their high prices.

Considering my options now. Which combo?

    A. Kun and Hazard to Kane and Sterling for free

    B. Kun, Hazard and Richarlison to Kane, Ali and Sane (hit)

    C. Kun, Hazard and Richarlison to Kane, D.Silva and Eriksen (hit).
