Packed with eight Premier League fixtures, it goes without saying that today is massive for us fantasy managers. First we’re off to back off to Villa Park for Aston Villa’s game against Arsenal, and there is some interesting team news…

Two-time Premier League winner with Arsenal, Robert Pires starts for Aston Villa against his old club. John Carew also makes a comeback to the starting line-up as predicted.

The visitors are of course without their captain Cesc Fabregas, and Robin van Persie still isn’t deemed fit enough to start. Tomas Rosicky comes in, but Theo Walcott only has a place on the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Ashley Young, Clark, Bannan, Downing, Pires, Carew

Arsenal XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Squillaci, Koscielny, Clichy, Rosicky, Song, Wilshere, Nasri, Chamakh, Arshavin

Then, with no evening fixture, we have seven 3pm games to keep us occupied. Possibly the most highly anticipated game today is Bolton Wanderers Vs. Blackpool. Crazy. Elsewhere, joint-top-of-the-table Manchester United host Blackburn Rovers, West Brom travel to Goodison Park, Fulham face Birmingham City, Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City are at the Britannia Stadium, Wolves host Sunderland and Upton Park sees West Ham and Wigan Athletic battle it out.

It’s going to be manic, but if that’s your thing then come and enter our Dugout Discussion which is now open, and will remain so until those pesky bonus points are handed out.

sounded like no assist for the 4th:

Rafael da Silva makes a fantastic burst into the area, Ji-Sung Park's initial shot is blocked by Chris Samba but it falls for man of the moment Dimitar Berbatov to follow up and lash in United's sixth from four yards. Wayne who?

and no assist for the fifth

This is quite extraordinary. Dimitar Berbatov has scored five goals for Manchester United this afternoon. No-one has ever scored six in a Premier League match. Anderson sets him away on the right, the Bulgarian's cross to Wayne Rooney is blocked by Ryan Nelsen and when it comes back out to him Paul Robinson is beaten at his near post. Remarkable.

But arguably he has Ryan Nelsen to thank for a couple of unfortunate touches 🙂
