You can now vote in the Gameweek 19 Captain Poll, either below or in the sidebar of our website.

Liverpool and Tottenham are expected to be the go-to teams with them hosting Newcastle and Bournemouth respectively.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have been particularly ruthless at Anfield this season and Newcastle may struggle to cope with the in-form Mohamed Salah (£13.2m).

Fantasy managers might also be tempted by the Egyptian’s team-mates Roberto Firmino (£9.2m), Sadio Mané (£9.6m) or Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.1m).

Also, Newcastle’s troubles in front of goal may also convince Fantasy managers to consider Alisson (£5.8m) or Andrew Robertson (£6.6m) for the armband.

The will be newfound support of Spurs assets after their six-goal performance at Everton in Gameweek 18.

Harry Kane (£12.5m) will obviously be the Spurs front-runner after scoring 15 points from two goals and an assist at Goodison Park.

However, there was also a handsome 21-point haul for Son Heung-min (£8.5m) as well as goals for Christian Eriksen (£9.3m) and Dele Alli (£8.9m).

Eden Hazard (£11.0m) is in action against Watford, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang‘s (£11.5m) Arsenal travel to Brighton while Manchester City will hope to respond to their shock defeat to Crystal Palace at Leicester City.

How nailed are Ings and Lingard?

(not for this GW I mean in general)

Ings is dependent on his fitness, might get rested the odd time to protect him.

      Ings more nailed than Lingard

Ings is first choice.. Rest and injury is a worry. Lingard.. You will want to get rid in jan when everyone returns. Enjoy him for the next 3 weeks which is the main draw anyway

Would assume Ings 100% when fit (but rotation is mandatory during busy schedule)
      Lingard not soo much

I have more faith in Ings right now. Lingard can be rotated on the right flank with Mata/Rashford especially when Sanchez/Lukaku return for the center and left flank.

    A) Sterling > Hazard
    B) Richarlison > Lingard
    C) Schindler > Bednarek

Been on bench for last 6 games. Buttonninjured just come back but not in team or bench.

Ive Ryan, Im moving to Hart on the basis Burnley will start to dig in.

Also, compare Bednarek stats to Jan Valerly. he's 4.0 but seems to get further up field. played most of last 4.

Would you consider downgrading Robbo to TAA to release funds ?

I think there is a good chance Moreno will play this GW, then Robbo to play vs Arsenal and City where Liverpool might not get clean sheets.

3rd defender slot is tricky, Doherty, AWB and Digne are all good options.

I might be tempted to play AWB (CAR) over both Doherty (ful) and Digne (bur)

TAA might not feature, think I'd prefer Doherty ahead of Digne on the bench.

      1. The 12th Man
        • 12 Years

Yeh that final defender decision is a headache. Even AWB comes into contention. Glad I have that worry though as some may be rested.

Save transfer or take out Laca/Wilson (for Rashford, maybe Ings)?

    Fabianski (Hamer)
    Luiz Digne Robbo (Doherty AWB)
    Son Sterling* Sane Snodgrass (Camarasa)
    Wilson* Kane Laca*

    * = people I'm thinking of moving on from

    1. QuintonFortune25
      • 9 Years
      7 years, 1 hour ago

Move Wilson out to Rashford. I think Laca will be a good option moving forward, Mkhitryan being out means Emry can't play 3-4-2-1 with Iwobi and Mkhitaryan as inside forwards and Auba up top, therefore his best formation is 4-3-1-2 with Auba and Laca as a pair up top and Ozil behind. Plus Ozil's last performance suggest he could get a string of games together now, which is great for Auba and Laca owners.

2018 - a year of ups and downs. On a personal note my wife and I became special guardians for a 6 years old, who will live with us now until he's 18 - I am in my mid 50's so not something we'd planned for or expected.

Fantasy Football is my escape - to get away for those few moments and read as much as I can on here, play around with my team etc. etc. is incredibly therapeutic and yet the game is so frustrating. isn't it?

I suppose what I'm saying is FF is a mirror of my life - expect the unexpected, enjoy the highs, work through the lows, plan as much as you can - but most of all - have fun.

    Merry Christmas to everyone

I'd wait WHU have great fixtures for the next three and you can see how Martial fits in when Sanchez and Lukaku returns.

    Fabianski (Stekelenburg)
    Alonso, Laporte, Digne (Wan-Bissaka, Bennett)
    Hazard, Mané, Sané, Anderson, Richarlison
    Aubameyang, Wilson (Kamara)

    1FT, 2.0 in bank

    A) Mané / Anderson ---> Son
    B) Wilson ---> Rashford
    C) Save FT

I somehow still have a WC. Would you WC below or wait one week?

    Leno (bha)
Alonso (wat) / Robertson (NEW) / Digne (bur)/ Doherty (ful)
Salah (NEW) / Hazard (wat) / Anderson (sou) / Fraser (tot)
    Kane (BOUR) / Jiminez (ful)

    Hamer / AWB / Kamara / Cairney

I would likely get rid of: Kamara / Cairney / Fraser / Anderson / Leno/ (maybe) Alonso

And bring in: Richarlson / Camarasa and one or more of Lingard / Martial / Ings / Hart

        Thanks

Only thing I'm concerned about is whether I get 11 players out. I imagine at least 1 of the five full backs gets a rest

How are people handling the strong bench this week in relation to transfers? Bringing players in to cause more headaches as rotation more likely? or not making transfers this week as they have the players to cover it already?

Don’t Think he’ll completely change the whole squad of starters who did well last game. But let more players get the chance to perform coming from the bench. OGS one of the most famous subs ever.
