You can now vote in the Gameweek 19 Captain Poll, either below or in the sidebar of our website.

Liverpool and Tottenham are expected to be the go-to teams with them hosting Newcastle and Bournemouth respectively.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have been particularly ruthless at Anfield this season and Newcastle may struggle to cope with the in-form Mohamed Salah (£13.2m).

Fantasy managers might also be tempted by the Egyptian’s team-mates Roberto Firmino (£9.2m), Sadio Mané (£9.6m) or Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.1m).

Also, Newcastle’s troubles in front of goal may also convince Fantasy managers to consider Alisson (£5.8m) or Andrew Robertson (£6.6m) for the armband.

The will be newfound support of Spurs assets after their six-goal performance at Everton in Gameweek 18.

Harry Kane (£12.5m) will obviously be the Spurs front-runner after scoring 15 points from two goals and an assist at Goodison Park.

However, there was also a handsome 21-point haul for Son Heung-min (£8.5m) as well as goals for Christian Eriksen (£9.3m) and Dele Alli (£8.9m).

Eden Hazard (£11.0m) is in action against Watford, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang‘s (£11.5m) Arsenal travel to Brighton while Manchester City will hope to respond to their shock defeat to Crystal Palace at Leicester City.

Concerns, Kane and Salah, any suggestions?

    Patricio
    Doherty, Alonso, digne, kola, Robertson
    Hazard, sane, sterling, son, billing
    Aubam, jiminez, success

Any suggestions, I know I can't have both... Kane the priority?

Contemplating using my 2FTs for this:

Sterling+Kayal to Son + Martial. Will just mean Ederson, so a certain 2 pointer to come.

      Will give me this:

Ederson; Alonso, Robbo, Doherty, AWB; Son, Rich, Anderson, Martial; Kane, Auba

      (Fraser, Wilson, Balbuena)

My transfers this week were Sterling,Fraser,Snodgrass > Son,Martial,Lingard.-4
So not far away from your thinking.

        That team looks good.

Ha nice. Yeah, could go Lingard for Fraser, but would give benching headache.

Probably AWB on bench. So is Lingard going to outscore AWB by 4 points? Hmm, perhaps.

Would be all in on Spurs and United...not something I ordinarily like doing.

Was set on Fraser out and rich in but also have alli who's a doubt.
United have turned my head too now.

    A) Fraser to rich/Lingard

Best Fernandez replacement for 4.5 or less? Would like to go as cheap as possible in order to raise funds for elsewhere. Should I wait a week as the newcomer will likely be benched this week? Currently considering Jonny, Bennett and Kiko

Thoughts on Sterling, Fraser, Alonso to Hazard, Lingard, VVD for -4?

Lingard seems a great pick to me. Hazard way less of a rotation risk and Liverpool are just so good defensively it’s worth doubling up. It also helps fund the other moves.

      Not a for -4.

I think Sterling's performance has regressed, but all the great players bounce back. CHE fixtures look a lot better then LIV.

What's the correct way to interpret Martials 4.2 XG over achievement? Does it mean that he's actually bloody good and is a 7.4m pearl of sweetcorn amongst a pile of crap up or does it really mean that he's just been a really lucky b*****d lately and the 6.8 ppg he's achieved since becoming a regular starter in GW7 is unsustainable? Thanks.

      He is a brilliant finisher.
So i think he can maintain his scoring form with less number of chances falling his way then any other united attackers.

He’s that kind of player. Can score difficult chances - utterly clinical when he’s in form.

His 2nd against Chelsea & his Everton goal will be the main reasons why that stat exists. They were barely even half-chances but he’s good enough to bury them.

My worry with him is the adductor thing he’s been carrying for a while. Can’t see him playing 3 games in a week.

    3. Limited & Mediocre Mana…
      • 9 Years
      7 years, 12 hours ago

He has been fortunate, but his stats are very solid in absolute terms. His returns are unsustainable but that doesn't mean he isn't a very good option, he should still get fairly consistent returns.

Who do you think will score more points next few weeks

A: Sane (lei,sot,LIV)..on form but starting to tail off? Will likely play 2/3 I reckon, more assist potential then goal threat. Possibly rested for saints game? City look of colour having won only one of their last 4 games! But does that mean they will revert back to mean

    B: Anderson (sot,bur,BRI)..
Talisman for them, nailed on I think, good goal and assisters potential. Wil he play all games? Can west ham afford to rest him. Who is his competitor? West ham have decent fixtures but might be tailing off too after wining 4 on the bounce

Worth swapping any of the above for one of the United mids? Does it make a difference if I already have Rashford

Who would you fear most not having? Sterling or Hazard

i'm a chelsea fan and hazard doesn't really inspire me as a reliable FPL option. he can go missing during games very easily. i am far more scared of city running up cricket scores and me not having sterling.

City have now 2 losses and 1 draw in the past 4 games, and Sterling has been abysmal the past games and his away form is yet to impress. Hazard is Chelsea talisman, on pens and basically immune rotation.

Hazard probably - nailed talisman on penalties

A huge risk IMO. Auba has looked good recently. So has Sane. Salah is a great option, but Rashford really isnt. If it was for free, then maybe.

Bit of a price difference there. Haz for the points, Martial for value.

Not an either/or situation... Quite a price gap.
