Easter provides us with a double haul of Premier League action over the next six days. With barely enough time to enjoy the weekend feast, Fantasy managers will be casting aside their bad eggs before the second helping of fixtures begin on Monday. In lieu of the usual Flutter this week, Paddy have obliged us with a double set of odds to tuck in to, so, in kind, we’re upping the ante…

Newcastle fans have had plenty to cheer this season, not least the form of Demba Ba, who eased the pain of losing Andy Carroll by notching goals against all opposition as Alan Pardew’s side chase an unlikely European spot. Right now, however, Ba has taken a step back and allowed compatriot Papiss Cisse to come to the fore. Cisse has racked up seven goals in as many games, without completing a full 90 minutes, and will be looking to add another to the tally at Swansea in this afternoon’s Easter opener. Paddy included the Newcastle man in their goalscoring treble with Cisse, Van Persie and Rooney at 7/1 to all score over their first set of Easter fixtures. With 54 goals between them, we’ll gladly open our account with a fiver on this one.

After the tragic heart condition that struck Fabrice Muamba at White Hart Lane in March, Bolton’s form has gone from strength to strength, belying doubts that they could struggle following the abandoned quarter final. Martin Petrov has played a significant role in this recent success, both as provider and goalscorer. Paddy are offering a lofty 14/1 for Petrov to score and Bolton to keep a clean sheet at home to Fulham in their first Easter fixture. Although Bolton have won their last three, they have also been conceding, so £1 is risk enough for us here.

Antonio Valencia has been on fire of late, and although pundits questioned the intent for his deadlock breaker against Blackburn on Monday night, nobody could deny he produced another electric performance. Paddy are playing odds on Valencia close to their chest after his productive spell, offering 100/30 on a Valencia assist and clean sheet for United against QPR. A lot of risk for little reward, but with £14 in the kitty to spend over this weekend, a cheeky £1.50 still leaves us with plenty to play with.

Check back on Monday morning to see how we got on and for more odds on Leighton Baines, Gareth Bale and man of the moment Papiss Cisse.

Money Back Specials

Talking of Cisse, Paddy have lined up the in-form striker to be the subject of their first Money Back Special for the opening Easter fixture. If Papiss Cisse scores the last goal in the clash with Swansea, Paddy Power will refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100. They’ve got a similar deal on Peter Crouch in the Stoke vs Wolves clash.

In Sunday’s games, Paddy are offering refund options if there are five or more goals in the Man United vs QPR clash. Paddy will again refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match up to a value of £100. You can get the same deal should there be five goals in the Arsenal vs City clash at the Emirates.

He could easily have had loads of assists in those games. He's been unlucky at home.

When City sign a serious manager, they will be extremely hard to beat.

Mancini has always been a joke.

          You still up!

His record is good despite Citeh choking violently now. Give him a couple of years (yes... at least two) and then judge. There is too much manager rotation these days 🙂

I think I might have to wait until the morning for my red ğŸ™

I do think you are wrong about Mancini but that could be said about AVB etc. There's this immediate performance thing that new managers have to seemingly attain. It'll never work that way which is why SAF will go marching on.

I would have thought that Roman etc. would have gathered that by now but no, they want results NOW. It aint gonna happen.

You'll laugh at this but I reckon Pool have got it right... Kenny has a 3 year time slot in which to make his team. It makes sense to me.
