It has been an eventful 12 hours at Tottenham Hotspur as they lost and gained a head coach quite literally overnight.

On Tuesday evening it was announced that Mauricio Pochettino had been sacked from his position at the north London club after five and a half years in charge.

That came after Spurs had managed just three wins and five draws from their opening 12 Premier League matches of the season, a record good enough only for 14th place.

Their Champions League campaign was also not without its problems, epitomised in a 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich earlier this season.

Just as the football world was reeling from the surprise departure on their way into bed, we all emerged the next morning to an arguably even more seismic development.

Jose Mourinho is back.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager was appointed Spurs’ new head coach in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Whether he has the desired effect there, after his two most recent managerial spells ended sourly, remains to be seen.

However, it should all make for interesting viewing when his new side travel to West Ham in Gameweek 13…

“I am excited to be joining a Club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters. The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me.” – Jose Mourinho

We will do our best to bring you a Scout Report on Jose Mourinho, and what we believe he will bring to Spurs, as soon as possible.

Thoughts on this? Have been a bit trigger happy with the old hits recently so contemplating holding for the week, but any major surgery needed? I've missed out on the Lundstram party for so long now based on my sad prediction that at some point Blades' tactics would be unpicked and the floodgates would open, but it just hasn't bloody happened, and it seems too late to get involved now given price point (and the fact the collapse could still happen).

    Pope (McGovern)
    Soy Robbo Janmaat (Tomori Kelly)
    Mane KdB Sterling Mount Traoré
    Vardy Tammy (Connolly)

    1ft, 0.2itb.

Lundstram isn't even a defender, get him in. Traore to Donk and Kelly to Lund over the next couple weeks/roll the transfer

Prime free trials are always available assuming you haven't been with them before. They want you to have it because you will likely do some of your Christmas shopping with them and/or forget to cancel after your free trial.

Would be nice. Seems very strategic that they've got early December games and boxing day games with Christmas shopping to be done in between. Doubt they'd give it away for free when they have the lure of Xmas shopping and Football.

What do you think... have already got Robertson in with 1 FT.

With my remaining 1 FT and 1.4 mill in the bank should I:
    A) Save it
    B) Mount -> Martial
    C) Mount -> Pulisic

Hello me old windypops - anyone still with a WC available? And when are you planning on using it? In coming weeks or GW18 or even just before the New Year to give yourself a fresh looking team for 2020?

Next week looks good tbh. Few teams have 3 home games out of 4.

Leicester, Pool, Wolves, Chelsea, Southampton. Also beef the bench up for Xmas.

Depends how you are set up I suppose, like I have 2 Pool/2 Leicester/2 Chelsea and am happy with squad - that said, it's kind of one of those things that I've held on to it so long I'm still waiting for a week where its use feels miraculous in some way lols.

Mine would effectively be 4 moves which affect the first 11.

          McGinn > Chilwell
          Mount > Pulisic
          Salah > Mane
          Son > Madison

While getting shot of Dunk, Rico and Greenwood too.

Talk on the captaincy scoutcast is that bri have very good stats at home re shoots conceded and that maybe vardy isn't the best idea.

However, it's not relative third week. bri haven't been tested yet with both first choice CB's out, Webster and Dunk.

    Thoughts?

Not capping him myself but he's a great option considering their weakened defence! Brighton unlikely to sit back either, could play to Vardy's strengths!

Stats can be deceiving. 6 home games, 2 clean sheets. One was against a dead Norwich the other against a Spurs team that rolled over and allowed themselves to be walloped. WHU, SOU, BUR, EVE have all scored at Brighton. Defensive injuries. Leicester on better form and generally better than any of these sides. Vardy (c) for me and not really considering changing it.

And of those games where they conceded, they won just once. Against Everton. And had to score three times to do so. I wouldn't be surprised if Leicester hammered them.

Usually I would agree but with so much value in cheaper players I've got loads in the bank. You can probably tell I'm leaning towards bringing someone in for this gameweek and its reverse and also for their really difficult spell over New year's and January.

This week doesn't look great for him, agree, but like I said it's a long term move. And reverse fixture is GW31, c'mon 🙂

Yeah but Henderson is my long term keeper. I don't need another one (even though I will now have another one of course).

            B. I don't like Jimenez much as an option. I also think Firmino is underrated.

certainly underrated IRL but not as an FPL asset!

This - Great player - FPL wise though not to much. (especially for his price.)

Spurs are going to use this video and destroy the WH twitter when spurs walk away with an easy 3-0 win.

Everyone and his dog getting gk henderson, it seems
At this rate , we're going to have to triple up on shu defence to make any headway.

I've actually thought about potentially bringing in O'Connell for the triple up next week if Robbo's injury proves more serious.

I've completely stuck to a long term plan since WC 4 gameweeks ago, feels weird, I just wanna go for a mad punt.

          A or B?

          A) Maddison+Tomori
          B) Tielemens+Lundstram

Just realised Winston Reid played for New Zealand in the IB.
3.9m defender fro WHU. Anyone putting him on the watchlist? Surely with how they've done defensively, the two CB spots are up for grabs?

Yep, been keeping an eye on ever since he returned to training a few weeks ago.

With that clown keeper we got in for Fab I wouldn't go within a mile of anything West Ham defence related.

Or anything West Ham related for that matter, we're a shambles. Avoid like the plague

I wouldn't touch West Ham right now. They look very lost. Even if Reid does get into the starting 11 history has shown us he'll be out soon enough with an injury.

Anyone brought in a Spurs player for this week hoping to get ahead of the curve (if we are to assume a new manager bounce)?
