Scoutcast crew discuss FPL stubbornness and Spurs assets

The Scoutcast crew have a busy evening of Fantasy Premier League discussion ahead of them.

Join Joe, Az and Lee from 20:00 GMT to 21:00 GMT for episode 309 on our YouTube channel.

While Spurs and Manchester City play their latest Champions League matches, our panel of pundits will be focussing on these two teams in particular.

The arrival of Jose Mourinho in north London has the potential to unlock several Fantasy assets while Sergio Aguero’s (£11.9m) injury could see Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m) get a run of starts.

Meanwhile, our talking point revolves around the concept of stubbornness in FPL.

How long is too long to wait for a player to become good? At what point do you recognise that the in-form option you don’t own won’t stop scoring?

Tune in shortly to find out!

Planning on doing Jimmy to Kane on FT? Yay or nay? Will be making Kane captain against BOU. Current team:

    Pope
    TAA Soy Chilwell
    Mane KDB Pulisic Mount
    Vardy Tammy Jimmy

    Bench: Lundy Rico Saka; 3.5itb

Jiménez has been great last 2 weeks and he has the fixtures too. Leave it

I know but just think he's played too much already. So either his output will start regressing or he will see reduced minutes. For Kane, there seems to be a feel good factor back at Spurs. And he is nailed, won't get rotated and gives a nice differential captain option.

Go with Kane if your gut says he will explode. Jimi has been playing minutes forever and the same thing was said before, he really is a machine but his ceiling isn't higher than Kane. He will tick along nicely as oppose to exploding. If the price difference is fine for you, Kane is the right choice.

Yeah, most likely I will. I agree to both your points regarding Jimmy's minutes and his capped ceiling. Thanks!

Giving Mount one more game. Against WHU, if he starts, should get something. I think Lamp likes him too much to bench him against sides outside of top 4.

Arsenal looking at Nuno Santo to replace Emery. What do you think he will do at Arsenal? He is definitely a better coach than Emery but is he the right man for a big club like Arsenal?

If they want to chance, then rather do it with Eddie Howe or Sean Dyche.

With Auba and Laca wanting out, Nuno would be crazy to move atm.

Nuno too defensive. He loves his philosophy more than his balls.Imagine Arsenal playing 5-2-3 counter attacking football. Pochettino/ Nagelsman are the men Arsenal should consider

The opposite actually. Can see Sterling playing more central as a result. I'd hold him if I had him.

I was going to comment that the double up on Liv defenders is not neccessary because there is so much value AND form/fixtures going on in defense. The money tied up doesn't look like a problem though. It's a good problem to have, anyway.

      How does this sound.

Keep sterling for a couple of weeks to assess if the non kun factor helps his points

      Switch
      Maddy & Mount

      Tieliemens & Moura
