The Dugout Discussion opens for the concluding fixture of Gameweek 34, which sees 17th placed Wigan Athletic travel down the 3rd placed Arsenal. The team news for the game is in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Vermaelen, Andre Santos, Song, Arteta, Walcott, Rosicky, Benayoun, van Persie.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour, Moses, Di Santo, Gomez.

A single change from the side that brushed Wolves aside for the Gunners, as Tomas Rosicky comes in for Aaron Ramsey in midfield.

Despite condemning Manchester United to only their fourth defeat of the season, Shaun Maloney isn’t in the visitors squad. Jordi Gomez replaces the Malaysian born Scot.

            Henderson doesn't waste the ball as much, he just gives it to a team mate. Ramsey just thinks his Iniesta and gives the ball away. Difference.

    Really hope RVP does sth so I can catch up to one of my ML leaders. He was 18 points ahead (Rooney captain) before this game. I have RVP (C), Walcott and Verm. He has RVP, Walcott, Song. Cut the lead by 8 points 🙂

      but shipping both seems like lunacy ahead of DGW. But yeah buying RvP back for Norwich seems like a good idea. Rooney, Tevez and Cisse looks good

      Rooney os in form tbf. He seems to score at home and can see him netting v City. After that a switch to RvP should be easy as United will have title wrapped up.

      How does De gea, Sess and RVp tp Krul, Dempsey and Tevez sound (-4)

        Neither have a DGW. In fact, they both have the toughest of fixtures respectively 35-36 whilst Jelly/Ade have a DGW.

        If the Krul move is a necessary cash converter then fine, but I'm not sure the move is worth it in it's own right.

              Or do I ship Theo instead and keep Sess for his GW36 home game v Bolton, though I ten have an issue over who to bench assuming I ship McClean for a DGW mid.
