First season on here in years. Crazy to see the growth

Not sure if it’s just the growth or the fact that there are many other platform offering cash prizes etc. It’s a competitive market, no more monopoly of 7-10 years ago.

Loads of casual will load up on Vinager with Nuno not seeing him as a nailed option.

Casuals will not leave Doherty set and forget.

It is funny the obsession with casuals. Firstly, there are different level of dedication and knowledge that fall somewhere below being completely obsessed and on here all the time (which is what I interpret as your understanding of not being a casual).

Also, the idea that they all think the same and will act in the same way and in the most dumb way like a load of sheep is wrong. There was even someone on here saying that casuals will sell City and United players once they realise that they didn't play in week one, as if they will never play again.

I think he’s worth trying as he’s got some great fixtures and as you say his price point allows for easy moves to the usual suspects.

My only problem with Doherty now is, that I don't know if he'll start straight away. Think Spurs fixtures look good for Doherty, but might need more than 2 weeks to play his way into the team?

Jim and Ings just missing 200 points was a disaster last season after all. Spend another 5/6 million on Mo and there was another 40 points of course

Jimenez! He could be more explosive without Europa league this season and he is more likely to get 90 minutes rather than subbing off around 65 to 70 mins for Abraham or Giroud.

Every combo I build ends up in 4-4-2, at least for the first week. I keep trying to build a 3-4-3 but can't seem to get there. Was on a 5-4-1 for a bit.

1 x 4.0 and 3 x 4.5 bound to end in loads of hits.

My teams predominantly a 4-4-2, but I’ve got Soucek on the bench, so can go 3-5-2 at times.

Currently at 3-4-3. Prices are favourable for 3 up top if you can find the right combo. You can spend less than 27-28m and get a gun forward line. You couldn’t last year for that money. I’m starting with 3 and taking it from there. Werner, Ings, Martial averages at 9m a player for example. Could be great.

Looks strong! Personally I would punt on Werner over one of Jimi/Ings - by downgrading Doherty to Davies or Dier.

Not sure but I don't get the appeal myself - Chilwell, Evans, Pereira all gone/injured yet Justin keeps popping up in RMT's

Let me tell you watching him get an assist in the 38th minute and a 7 point CS wipeout in the 77th every week was not much fun at all.

Soucek is in my GW1 team, then he’s going on my bench and will make the odd cameo in my team in a 3-5-2, if I don’t fancy a fixture for one of my defenders.

Well, it's certainly different! I get keeping a player on the bench who isn't playing GW1 but two premiums seems excessive. Who do you bench GW2 from that front line?? I can't see the formation
