United have a much better chance for CS.

Laca, Martial, Gundo all might not even start. Wilson is facing bottom side with no CS kept all season and on pens.
Gundogan is a bad pick.
People have been saying this all season, but he's still on 6.1 points per game, he's still on penalties, and he allows for triple City/United/Arsenal/Spurs elsewhere.
And yet Wilson has more points than all of them?
Because it's Sheffield and there are far better options available when it comes to the UTD/City triple-up. Martial is in woeful form, could argue even worse than Wilson. Wilson is also on pens, so on the off chance they get one he's up for a decent amount of points. Laca is a good option, from what I've seen people have a front 3 of Kane, Wilson and Laca on a FH with Wilson as an enabler for better defences.

Anyone else going with the anti-meta strategy of saving your free hit? I can field 7 players and see more value holding the FH for later in the season to make up more of an advantage

I think a FH giving you an optimal 11 vs 7 is fantastic value personally. Hard to beat it later. What do you think is gonna give you a bigger gain than that?
Navigating future blanks doubles and fixture swings. FH is second best chip in game, might not get as many points as 4x? in any given game week, but allows much more flexibility in not having to load up on certain players who could lose you points in surrounding fixtures.
Problem is the four additional players you are referring to. They won't be considered optimal for others.
I would agree, but 6 of my seven are optimal. Stones, cancelo, kdb, bruno, son, Kane. All captains covered. Isnt there another blank later in the season with FA-cup/league cup rearrangements?
