Should we reconsider Everton’s FPL attackers for Gameweek 20 and beyond?

With no match in Double Gameweek 19, have Everton gone under the Fantasy Premier League radar ahead of Gameweek 20?

That’s what we are pondering in this latest article as the Toffees face a period of appealing fixtures.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men had fans on the edge of their seats at the start of the season and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.6m) became a near-essential pick after delivering returns in eight of his first nine games.

Lucas Digne (£6.0m) was thriving as a maurauding left-back, providing five assists in 10 matches and summer signing James Rodríguez (£7.7m) hit the ground running in the Premier League.

However, as we look towards Gameweek 20, it is a very different story for Everton’s attacking assets.

With no goals in five games and a hamstring injury threatening to keep him out for the next few, Calvert-Lewin has been sold by nearly a million players

Digne and Rodríguez, once well-owned assets, are now in just around 13% of squads combined.

With FPL players selling Everton players en masse, we take a look at their underlying numbers to see if any of them are worth keeping for their appealing schedule.

Repost: Just been alerted to Arenal's fixtures. GW20-30 look bad for CS so may sell Holding this GW.

Have Stones/Dias/Robbo/Coufal and 5.1m to replace Holding.

Is Rudigar a real option at 4.5m?? Chelsea have good fixtures coming up.

Can't believe he's 4.5m, Chelsea is a no go currently, regardless of fixtures.

Same answer as the previous page - just downgrade to Mitchell for the 5th def spot. This is my plan

I don't think any Chelsea defender is a good pick regardless of opposition. Chilwell might get you attacking returns but other defences more CS friendly. They might improve when Kante is back.

      Rudiger no, too much risk.

I have Chilwell, but not sure I'd be buying him right now. Holding is a decent price, not sure you need to sell. Nice defence!

Absolutely smashing it. On 54 with 3 to go. Should've stuck with my plan and used my FH as planned.

Such a bad week to have a horrible week.

Hopefully Salah can give me a boost tonight.

Any player earning five bookings from their side's first 19 Premier League matches will serve a one-match ban in the same competition. Yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.

Players who accumulate 10 yellow cards in PL matches up to and including their team's 32nd fixture will serve a two-match suspension in the competition.

Lads, may as well own up to it. In a week where most of you got 90+ points, I am currently on 54. Disastrous week.

Would you take a -4 doing Chilwell + Taylor to Cancelo + Stones?

City's next few seem very good for CS.

I might, City have had so many CS and that could continue. Laporte almost back but we'll see if that affects Stones.

Could you just do Taylor > Stones?

I can do that yes. Could even do Taylor to Cancelo alone. Just thought doubling down will pay off the hit.

I'd prob try and hold Chilwell.

Once Chelsea start playing a proper holding mid (not Kovacic) they should be fine, at least defensively.

Wolves, Burnley, Sheff Utd and Newcastle in the next five.

Stop it. This is madness. I can’t deal with a witch, a genie and a shape shifter all at once. Like trying to beat up a T-1000 with a feather duster.

Because as good as I think he is it’s too dodgy with all the dodginess flying around. Love the idea of it though. Fixtures are there.

Nope. Playing well, but not FPL well - can avoid Chelsea in general really. Returns likely few and far between unless tactics change.

Slow and static in the final third - the proportion of Chelsea's shots from outside the box are starting to jump right up, around 25% at the end of last season, up to about 40% recently. Suits Mount since he's the kind to have some success firing from range but shots in the box are what you really want to see if you expect frequent returns, and he's down to about 180 mins per shot in the box...

Mount is one of Chelsea's few consistent attacking threats. Abraham also been decent. Giroud inconsistent.

Well I really wanted Vardy for the double but I already had Maddy and Justin and having them paid off in a big way. Up to you but I wouldn't. Maybe I'm biased based on who I have.

Really good fixtures. But they’re just awful. He’s a pretty good finisher but he needs the chances to actually score. Such a bizarre pick. But then again, I suppose there’s a dearth of options.
