The draw for the first round of the 2019/20 FFS Cup FFS Cup

After a record number of entrants for the third Fantasy Football Scout Cup, sponsored by Paddy Power, over 1300 fantasy managers fell at one of ten stages leaving just one to claim the top prize.

Joining FFS Cup I winner donnellyc and FFS Cup II winner Jonty, gooner dave takes his place in our Hall of Fame, becoming the first winner from the continent. Saving his biggest win for the final, he absolutely trashed tippman 69 – 36…

In a reasonably low-scoring week, a double-figure haul from Samir Nasri, an eight and a nine point return from captain Carlos Tevez and Paul Robinson respectively, saw him ease over the line with an excellent score. So, along with his second top-scorer prize, gooner dave receives a free £200 bet courtesy of Paddy Power, meaning he comes out of the competition with his pockets lined with £250 worth of free bets.

In contrast, tippman had a miserable week. When Paul Konchesky is your top-scoring player, you can’t really hope to beat anyone. Couple that with the most, erm, surprising choice of captaincy I’ve ever seen in Raul Meireles, and the runners-up prize of a free £100 bet courtesy of Paddy Power, looks a welcome consolation.

Elsewhere, in our 3rd place play-off, The Von successfully used an eight-point hit to narrowly beat DRP 64 – 61 and claim a free £50 bet.

Well that’ll do it then. Thanks to everyone for taking part, I hope you enjoyed it whilst it lasted for you, and thanks also to SUPERIOR BEING for his help throughout.

is it unwise to sitll have malouda? i have a feeling he could finally do something again. Or is it time to ship for some one else like maybe bale considering he's up against ferreira?

I read some crazy stat that he created 14 goal scoring chances vs. Blackburn, or Birm can't remember which, non of which were converted. He was playing in midfield that day too.

He has been one of chelseas better players recently, and with essien and terry now back, and with the impending return of lampard, I'm considering maybe holding on for another week or two. Chelsea will improve sooner or later and everyone knows that

Out of those two Cahill. Although I think Nani is a better option than either of them (unless Cahill unexpectedly starts taking FKs and pens over Baines).

Arsenal are a great team, but not because of their defence.

Probably. We'll see what happens, but the plan /was/ to swap Cahill out for him until I found out Cahill's going to be around longer. Maybe I can find someone else to trade.

I had the same plan, but Cahill is gonna be here so the plan changes. Atleast I got players like barton or jarvis to get rid off and even Cahill if his fixtures don't compare well against VDV.

I was looking at it early and thought that I wouldn't be able to because I wouldn't want to get rid of Nani, Nasri or Cahill, but looking at it again, I'd much rather have VDV for blp avl, than Cahill for mcy BIR.

I just hope that he isn't fit for Blackpool.

Thinking Bale in for Brunt with Brunt on a knock with my free transfer.

    Hart - Carson

    Vidic - Cole A - Kolarov - Dann - Foley

    Nasri - Nani - Gamst Pedersen - Brunt - N'Zogbia

    Drogba - Carroll - Elmander

    Money Remaining: 6.1

I'd carry that transfer over to next week as your team looks good. You could then bring in two of Tevez/Torres/VDV/Fab etc. next week.

Brunt will more than likely play but you have more than enough options to come in if not.

Aye, that's a tough one. Both could score. If Newcastle are fired up though Carrol could get a few or if they're all miserable and crap, it could be Liverpool's game.

I am playing Konch over Simpson, but if I had Carrol I'm not sure I would want to risk not putting him in. I'm not sure Kyrgiakos will get 90 mins either now.

        http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.php

It was the "original" price tracker; but not half as pretty as the TotalFPL/Fantasy Tools site that Frank has developed.

gents small tip for thonight on value-

glasgow to beat toulouse at 4/1 (5.0) on betfair. Now i know, toulouse, what a team, but bear in mind that glasgow are a home ground team in a major way, theyre nearly full strength, and theyve had 2 weeks rest. Toulouse got battered at clermont- not hammered, but battered.

The likelihood is that toulouse win this, but the price is too big for glasgow. Toulouse are french, so of course they mightnt travel well. Alsoeven if they lose this game, they'll more than likely top the group.

Most bookies have Glasgow at 11/4. Ive lumped into Glasgow myself, but its worth a few euro if niothing more for anyone who might be wwatching the game later.

-ps if anyone is gonna join betfair, let me know and ill give yee a code for free bets for both of us.

More on Heineken cup tomorrow around 1230 or so

i know the heineken cup inside out Henry, but theyre not really. theyre good, but Glasgow are too, and theyve beaten them IN TOULOUSE 2 heineken cups ago. They'll have no fear of this team, and if glasgow lose theyre ouot.

Like i said, toulouse likely winners, but the price is too big on glasgow

Cermont are a different class to Glasgow though, back them to beat the spread versus Leinster. Good luck with your bet.

Who would be the team you follow in the Henieken Cup Roy?
