Premium Members Area update: Compare FPL player stats across all outfield positions

Subscribers of Fantasy Football Scout may have noticed a recent addition to the Premium Members Area over the last few days.

Previously, users could only view certain player stats by position – for example, looking at the goal threat of midfielders or the distribution figures of defenders.

Now, however, we have introduced another option that allows Premium Members to study various metrics and include all outfield players in their results.

You can find this filter in the Player Stats menu under Outfield Players, as shown below:

Premium Members Area update: Compare FPL player stats across all outfield positions

So, for example, we can see directly how Trent Alexander-Arnold’s (£7.8m) creativity matches up with other players further forward or, as seen below, how Joao Cancelo‘s (£6.6m) attacking threat compares with midfielders and forwards:

Premium Members Area update: Compare FPL player stats across all outfield positions 1

Above: All outfield players sorted by goal attempts over the last four Gameweeks

Our thanks go to Mat and Will for their work on this.

And remember, if you’re not currently a subscriber and wish to ‘try before you buy’, we still offer a seven-day free trial of our Premium Members Area. Head to this link here to sign up for a week at no cost.

    Ramsdale (Foster)
    Chilwell Rudiger Cancelo Duffy (Livra)
    Salah Raph Son ESR (Doucoure)
    Vardy Wilson (Antonio)

So I need TAA in no matter the cost. Whats the best option? -4:

    A) Duffy/Antonio -> TAA/4.5 0 ITB
    B) Rudiger/Raph -> TAA/Rice - 0.2 ITB

Tough one. I'd probably feel safer owning ESR with him playing for Arsenal and Cornet being a Burnley player. I dont know much about Cornet other than him scoring screamers each week. Can he sustain that form?

Yeah my issue as well, just don't feel 100% about owning a Burnley player that isn't a defender, although the punt could be worth it

fixtures are pretty tasty for a while for Burnley and they are a lot more attacking than we usually associate them being. Looking at xG and xA over last 5 games, ESR has 0.45xA and 0.4 xG. Cornet has 0.05 xA and 0.77xG

All sound moves except maybe Jimi. He will have just one decent fixture left by the time of your proposed move and then he has a run of extremely tough fixtures. Maybe consider Benteke instead? Very low owned, cheaper, great fixtures and appears to be in form.

    GW12 Mini-League Leaders:

This is a report on the leaders of various Fantasy Football Scout FPL mini-leagues and community competitions after Gameweek 12, together with news of the FFS Cups and the latest update to the FFS Live Hall of Fame.

    ** FFS OPEN MINI-LEAGUE

Srecko Kurtovic leads for a fourth week in the Fantasy Football Scout mini-league (https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/68048/standings/c, league code gsnskx) and is now third overall.

    ** FFS COMMUNITY MEMBERS MINI-LEAGUE

Daniel Masson-Abraham leads for a sixth week in the Fantasy Football Scout Members mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/361/standings/c), which is also open to all. The league code is visible in the widget on the FFS Home Page when signed in, but only those with a registered FFS account (paid or free) will be eligible for prizes.

This is Daniel’s fourth week as NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD, but he is only two points ahead of Oscar (FPL FOCAL) who was recently interviewed by Az on YouTube, five ahead of Srecko Kurtovic and eight ahead of Tabz Hashimi. Apart from their Wildcards, the only other chip these managers have played so far was Oscar’s Bench Boost.

Fantasy Football Scout Members is now the Second Best League in FPL, based on the average score of the top five teams in each league. Our current top five are Daniel Masson-Abraham, Tabz Hashimi, Halid Musić, Sacha Reeves and Andrei Gluschkoff, all of whom are in the overall top 16.

    **FFS CUPS

Gameweek 12 was the Qualifying Round for the Open Cup. The closing date for entry was 20th November and 1024 teams (including seeded previous winners donnellyc, Gribude, Wild Rover, A Manager Has No Name, TH14 and 2EyedTurk) have qualified for the First Round Proper which will take place in Gameweek 13.

Gameweek 13 will also be the Qualifying Round for the Members Cup, and Premium Members have until 27th November to enter.
    See http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2021/11/18/prizes-on-offer-as-the-2021-22-ffs-cups-open-for-entry/ for full details.

    ** LAST MAN STANDING

See http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2021/07/24/the-last-man-standing-competition-2021-2022/ for details of TorresMagic’s Last Man Standing competition (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/26234/standings/c, league code 6dcode).

The joint highest scorers in Gameweek 12 were Raymond Ding and Paul Parsons with 99 points.

The safety score was 58, with 112 teams to be removed and 1,595 going through to Gameweek 13. It will remain open till Gameweek 22, but new entrants must pass all the previous safety scores (Home - torresmagiclms.simplesite.com) to qualify.

    ** HEAD-TO-HEAD LEAGUES

Martin Stubbs still leads League 1 in MIR’s FFS Head-to-Head Leagues (www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/head-to-head-leagues/). He is 853rd in the recently updated FFS Live Hall of Fame.

Three managers in League 8 and four in League 9 have won all twelve of their matches so far.

    ** TOPS AND VETS

Tabz Hashimi leads for a third week in my Top 10k Any Season mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/1378/standings/c, league code kgmryk) and is now fifth overall.

Joe Vaughan is the new leader in my Multiple Top 10k Finishes mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/1386/standings/c, league code 03t1fd), which is for teams with two or more top 10,000 finishes, and has risen to 2,532nd overall. He has had two previous top 8k finishes.

Tommi Aittokallio leads for a third week in PDM’s Top 1k ANY season mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/10031/standings/c, league code 01ef8y) and is now 670th overall.

Julian Hancock leads for a seventh week in Jed Alexander (LIvinginapool)’s Top 100 Any Season mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/194472/standings/c, league code pztxjt) and has risen to 2,543rd overall.

2009/10 FPL champion Jon Reeson (Westfield Irons) leads for a ninth week in Simon March’s FPL Champions League (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/2594/standings/c).

Jonny Armstrong leads for a third week in Chaballer’s Hall of Fame Top 1k mini-league (https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/39527/standings/c, league code 1zpaad) and has risen to 2,091st overall. He is 302nd in the FFS Live Hall of Fame.

Gerry Kerley leads for a second week in Skooldaze’s FPL Vets 2006 or before mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/25315/standings/c, league code hz9bz2) and has risen to 3,099th overall.

    ** MODS, CONS AND FAMILY

Chaz Phillips (Az) leads for a third week in the FFS Mods & Cons mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/366/standings/c). He is 406th in the FFS Live Hall of Fame.

And last but not least, Obay Eid (FPL_Milanista) leads for an amazing 12th week in the FFS Family mini-league (fantasy.premierleague.com/leagues/342/standings/c) and is now 794th overall. He is 69th in the FFS Live Hall of Fame.

** FFS LIVE HALL OF FAME

The FFS Live Hall of Fame (which, unlike the FFS Career Hall of Fame, can only be viewed by Premium Members) was updated again after Gameweek 11, and 62,751 managers participating in the Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Scout Members mini-leagues are now ranked in it. The new top ten, with FFS Career Hall of Fame positions in brackets, is:
    1(2) Tom Stephenson.
    2(3) Finn Sollie.
    3(1) Fábio Borges.
    4(8) Garry Murray (Sharky’s Machine).
    5(4) Morten Tveito.
6(7) Jon Ballantyne (Mad Moose FC).
    7(15) Scott McIrvine.
    8(26) Matt Corbidge.
    9(10) Mark Hurst.
    10(17) Gary Lee.
Finn (who has had nine top 10k finishes and came 39th last year) and Matt (who has had five top 10k finishes in the last six seasons) were the only ones in the overall top 10k at the time of the update, but all except Fábio and Morten were in the top 100k.

Why is Rodgers being linked with United? Does winning a cup at Leicester make him a born winner? Leicester are 12th in the league and his teams always falter towards the end of a league campaign.

    1. Hy liverpool
      • 10 Years

I don't think leicester being 12th or 4th matters, moyes is 4th now so can he manage united? And winning trophy with leicester is impossible atm with chelsea liverpool city so that doesn't mean he is a bad manager because he did win anything bar that cup.

If you are talking about tactical view or anything else then yes, united are better than that but comparing winning trophies and leicester being 5th or 4th doesn't make sense imo.

      Execuse my english.

I don't think finishing 4th or 5th matters either and I wasn't really comparing that to winning a cup. Pep or Klopp wouldn't win the league if they managed Leicester or West Ham either. I just don't think Rodgers is an elite manager able to win league titles like Klopp, Pep and Tuchel.

United are desperate, have seen some reports on Bruce or Rooney being interim manager which would be hilarious.

Funny thing is Pochettino was available for free for about a year and they stuck by Ole. Now they're desperate for Poch

Bruce or Rooney would be laughable. I don't get Carrick hasn't been turfed out either given he was Ole's right hand man and is hardly the man to shake things up in the interim. Gus Hiddink did well as interim manager at Chelsea and so they should get someone of that ilk although it'll be hard to get those players to up their game for a manager whose days are numbered.

Does anyone else get the annoying “with Windows 11” advert thing appear on their screens when on FFS?
A red border appears and then fades out to be left with a picture message at the bottom.
I want to work out if it’s FFS or my phone!

    Ramsdale
    TAA - Cancelo - Chilwell
    Salah (c) - Jota - Saka - Mbuemo
    Kane - Antonio - Jimenez

    Foster - Royal - Livramento - Brownhill

    1FT 0ITB

Managed a small red arrow and currently sat at 2.6k, easy roll? My priority is getting in Reece James, not sure how to go about that. Thoughts appreciated guys.

      I think you roll

Your route to James is Antonio down but you have royal and livra who are excellent value so might not be worth it

Thanks mate. Royal was quite awful yesterday and not sure Spurs will become a solid outfit in the short term, despite fixtures. Think he's the one I'd ditch despite only just getting him.

Should I start Duffy over Antonio this GW? Really considering it, despite also having Raphinha in my team.

My FPL thinking as well.. But Antonio is playing City away and isn't really scoring for free latley.

How is Son losing owners with his upcoming fixtures (and Kane isn't)?

    1. Holmes

Maybe because Kane is being promoted more than Son (or maybe he is playing better or there are more options in mid as compared to forwards)

Shall I hold this week or ship someone? 1 FT

    Sanchez (Steele)
Chilwell / Cancelo / TAA (Livra / Johnson)
Salah / Son / ESR / Gallagher (Allan)
    Vardy / Antonio / Jimi

    Morning chaps,

Have 2FTs and £1.3 itb. Still think getting Kane should be my priority, regardless of the fact him and Son played poorly last night. For now though, if Jota is fit, what do you think of

    Toney + Mbeumo > Jota + Dennis + £0.6itb

    Leaves me with

    Ramsdale
    TAA • Cancelo • James • Chilwell
    Salah • Foden • Jota • Raphina
    Vardy • Antonio

    Foster • Dennis • Livramento • Brownhill

Similar team and question to me below. I think you just need to get Kane in for Vardy somehow, your defence and midfield look solid imo

Vardy on a good run of fixtures too though. Feels a bit like swapping one striker with poor form but good fixtures for another is my only concern.

Moves look decent. My slight worry is losing Brentford players against a poor and under strength Everton team.

I think at least one of the Brentford boys needs to go. Preference would be to keep Toney, but need to release some funds. Many directions I can go to, dependant on who is fit come Friday and how strongly do I want Kane haha

Brentford formation change to Toney as the lone CF increases his appeal imo over Mbeumo.

Got a few moves on my mind. 2ft and 2.1itb.

    Ramsdale
    TAA James Cancelo
    Salah Raph Foden ESR
    Vary Jimi Toney
    Foster Livra Duffy Brownhill

Who should I prioritise bringing in..
Kane (can do straight swap for Vardy)
    Jota
    Son
    Chilwell

Similar situation to me. Can't decide if Kane or Jota should be more of a priority. Kane wasn't stellar yesterday but surely it is only a matter of time with those fixtures. Prefer Kane over Son, so all I can offer is narrowing it down to 2 options for you - Kane or Jota in this week

I think if you are going for a Spurs player, then you may as well move now. You've missed the first of their excellent fixtures (and got away completely unscathed). There's only 3 more left before the the fixtures start to turn again. May as well get them in for those 3 - or just ignore them and get Jota and then Chilly

      What's the -8?

I rarely take a -8 and just wanted to see which three moves (or 4 moves) are making you want to take a big hit.

Trent would be my priority, but Cancelo is a must for me too...

    Ramsdale
    TAA Cancelo James Duffy
    Salah Son Jota Raphina
    Wilson Toney

    Foster Antonio Livra Brownhill

    A) Roll
    B) Livra to Chilwell

Not sure why people are looking to lose Livramento. If you had him since 4.0m, he is easily the best 5th def option at the moment. Option A

    Keep long term:
    A) White (sales value: 4.4)
    B) Livramento (sales value: 4.3)

Guaita as GK. Leaning towards keeping White

City MFers have sh*t all over me this season. I just can't catch a break with them.
Bought Torres after his 18pt haul - he literally did nothing after that and then got dropped.
I replaced him with Grealish - who then proceeded to get me one assist over a 5/6 week period.
Then I brought in Foden after his mega haul and then of course he blanks the next 3 weeks (and counting..).

Cancelo on the other hand is a bloody legend! 🙂

Initially, I read what you intended as "City Midfielders" as "City MotherF***ers" and it made me laugh 😀

Tough luck with them unfortunately. I had to swallow a few Mahrez price drops and cameo appearances at the beginning of the season. Got Foden ahead of the curve though and got most of his good hauls. Didn't get a chance to fall for the Torres trap.

I fell for the Torres trap.

Sold him and then promptly fell into the Gabriel Jesus trap.

Think Cancelo is the safest and only City player worth owning.

I fell for the Mahrez trap in GW1 and have avoided every single one since. Foden did well for those who caught that haul, but most chased it after missing it and got nothing just like Torres.

It's a no brainer to pick a midfield player who plays as #9 for one of the most attacking teams in PL..

              • 7 Years

This is exactly the reasoning points-chasers give. Two things:

              1. #9 doesn't mean anything for Man City. The goals are spread out. They don't come mostly from the #9.

              2. You didn't give this reasoning before the haul. The chasers don't mention a word about Torres being the #9 before the haul. But after the haul, they mask the real reason behind buying him - which is the haul - by saying it's because he's the #9.

I don't own Foden..But, he was one of my priorities.

Pep is a fraud, but he usually gives consecutive starts, if a player keeps scoring..
If a player hauls and has the potential and keep getting opportunities, obviously you would go for the player..
And It's not just the haul.. If KDB was fit to play every week, not many would have picked Foden.

    4. bench boost for every gamew…
