Having a go at a Salah draft. I think this actually looks pretty strong…? Keeper can be any 4.5m who looks like starting, but Steele seems great for first set of fixtures. Bowen is a lock for me, great towards end of last season and carried that momentum into preseason form!

    Steele
    Shaw Gabriel Estu
    Salah Foden Bruno Saka Bowen
    Haaland Pedro

    Areola Mubama Kaboré Bell

    Thoughts?

I've got a pretty similar one

I like it, in the main. With Foden and Pedro as possible rotation risks, I'd maybe want a better bench. Also the 5th mid and Pedro makes it hard to jump on one of the 7-8m strikers. That would also allow a decent 4th defender.I personally think 4-4-2 works better for Salah drafts.

Having said that, this looks a really good starting 11 and my comments above are opinion rather than fact.

Sorry probably didn't make sense. I was suggesting downgrade a mid and upgrade Pedro and 4th mid. That's at odds to your Bowen lock, so probably ignore me!

Tbf he could sell Bowen or Foden to Enciso and switch Pedro to a £7.5m striker in 2 transfers.

Yeah. Usually try to avoid an early transfer and save the FT first week anyhow. Trust the gut for at least 2 GWs before tearing it up!

It's easy to have a super strong Salah team without Rashford.

      Onana
      Gabriel Estupinan Tarkowski
      Salah Saka Mitoma Mbeumo
      Haaland Watkins Jesus

Tbf, it's harder to do it with Salah, Saka and Rashford but it's possible.

All that everyone needs for carte blanche is Haaland being unavailable. Which is fairly likely at some point.

        Totally agree, with you

I’ve gone stones/eze over Tark/Watkins, but I love Watkins and am sure we’ll all have him at some point, but with road trips to toon and pool in first 4, can wait?

Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as the Reds reportedly turn down a bid from Brentford worth nearly £40million for winger Brennan Johnson.

Ridiculous money, is he really a winger or do they want him as a striker?

Nkunku's a hell of a player, and he might be on pens and set pieces.

Henry's highly attacking, with his manager urging him to get even more goals and assists this season.

I was all over the 4-5-1 formation due to the well priced defenders and midfielders - but I recognise two 4.5 (mostly non playing) forwards results in not only an inflexible team but also a weak bench.

Therefore, could i please ask people to list their top 3 forwards (8.0 and below) to go alongside Haaland and Mubama (third forward slot)?

    Thanking you

I see zero teams with him considered .
At 6.0 he’s expensive to be sure.
However, 3 out of last 4 seasons he basically scored 180 or more in those 3 seasons.
I feel those who are trying to fit in the 8.0 TAA can help their teams out a lot by putting him in for TAA.
      Try it…
I did and I love the results.

I don't see how Jackson is a risk to minutes. He is their only striker. Wouldn't want to go near Tottenham's defense personally. Udogie looks like a starter though.
