Seeing Pedro in a bunch of drafts lately. He's certainly allows funds to be spent elsewhere. Are we thinking that he will provide good value?

      I think so.

Looks good in preseason, really cheap, on pens for a good team. I think he'll start more matches than not.

      - Record signing
      - Great early fixtures
      - No Europa fixtures until late September
      - Presumed on pens

It's a bit of a gamble. Plenty of competition with Ferguson and Welbeck. European football to contend with. Lots of attackers for Brighton and points to be shared around.

But he looks lively in preseason, whereas Mitoma's a hit lacklustre. Brighton were great last season. And they've got excellent early fixtures.

I'm pairing JP in a rotation with Morris from Luton.

Enrico and Kovacic both unappealing picks due to high benching risks.

Son might work if he's fully fit in an attacking Spurs team. But I fully expect Brentford to burst that bubble.

I'm indecisive about one thing, dropping Watkins to Mubamba frees me up with 4.5m ITB to go Martinelli > Salah next week if I think I need to. What do you reckon? I'd play J. Pedro this week instead of Watkins. Other options for GW2 transfers are Stones > Chilwell or J.Pedro > Jackson.

    Onana (Pickford)
    Gabriel Estu Stones (Botman) (Beyer)
    Saka Martinelli BrunoF Mitoma Eze
    Haaland Watkins (J.Pedro)
    1.0m ITB

Yeah I'm just worried about him starting. But I guess if I'm going to buy him I should play him. Which makes me think I should just do the Watkins to Mubamba move!

I have 2.0m itb and not sure what to upgrade or if there's any glaring issues.

    Onana - Areola

    Chilwell - Gabriel - Estu - Beyer - Baldock

    Rashford - Saka - Odegaard - Mitoma - Mbeumo

    Haaland - Watkins - Archer/Mubama

    Leno 4.0
    Gabriel - Cash - Colwill (Botman 4.0)
    Rashford - Saka - Jota - Maddison - Garnacho
    Haaland - Kane (4.5)

How's this looking for a defensively light team? Thanks!

I think it's a little bit too compromised for the strong frontline.

Garnacho is probably a transfer waiting to happen. Jota will be a big minutes risk. No City, United or Brighton defence is not ideal.

It might work of course. My preference would be to downgrade one of the two forwards and spread the funds a bit elsewhere.

I was on this but Watkins downgrade allows Rashford Onana and another 6.5 mid which appears one of the strongest price points 😉 Mitoma Eze Mbeumo Diaby Barnes etc

We are having close to similar teams.

I've downgraded Chilwell to be able to go Rashford > Watkins.

      Pickford
      Gabriel - Estupinan - Udogie
      Salah - Rashford - Saka - Fernandes - Eze
      Haaland - Pedro

      (Turner, Baldock, Mubama, Kaboré)

Nice set up, similar to mine except :

Udogie instead of Chilwell / Stones and an extra 4.0 defender on bench allows Mitoma/Mbeumo upgraded to Bruno/Odegaard/Martinelli

Also 4.5 keeper instead on Onana; Johnstone could be better than Pickford ?

        - Chelsea likely to concede first couple. City could also if Ederson is playing
        - Udogie plenty of attacking threat with ok ish starting fixtures
        - Martinelli instead of Mitoma/Mbeumo looks like a great upgrade for opening fixtures

        Managed by Sean Dyche...

360minutes of friendlies without letting in a goal.

To write off Tark or Pickford is silly just because Everton will struggle all year long.

They got decent opening fixtures, and kindly priced.

Yes on a team that struggles to score, has been very sound at the back in preseason and has great fixtures which could lead to bonus for their starting defenders & Pickford.

    Team is:

Estupinan more attacking but Brighton wont keep many clean sheets imo he's not a long term option just their first few games
