          true, its about titles when your at this point in a career but in terms of whats looked back on in history , legacy etc , the bundesliga winners of 23/24 being remembered (people will just assume bayern won it, they did last year and they were rubbish) or premier league all time scorer ? no one is forgetting that. thats a record thats passed on from generations. everyone will know what harry kane did

      Yeah I agree, it's not like Bayern has a history of doing muuuuuuch better than 95% of the PL teams in CL as well.

      Agreed! Yes it’s a team game and trophies are paramount but you need perspective. All time PL goal scorer is years in the making and people will talk about that for decades to come not that he won the Bundesliga in 2023/24 season.

    If Balogun is going to West Ham he’s nailed on as a 4.5 striker for everyone right? How quickly will his price rise to 4.6? I don’t want to lose an arsenal place for him, but I don’t have anything itb to cover an increase.

    Anyone want to placate me and confirm his price won’t rise until after he becomes a West Ham player on fpl?

    1. Andy_Social

      His price will rise when the sales come in, whichever PL club he's at.
      I'll be staying up all night to do the Mubama to Balogan switch if it happens.

        Other than the possibility of being locked out of a third Arsenal asset, is there any reason to not go Balogun over Mubama now?

          I don’t think so. Maybe if he moves to Monaco his price could drop to 4.4, meaning you can’t get Mubama back in.

        He'll be the one central I presume too

    All this hype of Richarlison hasn't taken into account Spurs signing another striker. There seems to be interest in Gift Orban and a deal could happen quite swiftly leaving Richarlison (and owners) out in the cold again. They have already signed Veliz too.

      I have no idea who that is. Was reported interest in Taremi though

    Emi Buendia sidelined with a knee injury! Shame that, he has looked solid as in pre-season. Looked good value at 6m.

      Big blow for Villa, they need that depth

        Yep, explains the rumoured interest in Zaniolo at Galatasary. In the meantime it probably means Bailey filling in, who I really don't rate

          Bailey actually posted similar numbers to Diaby in the Bundesliga for the same team so I imagine there is some potential.

      There goes literally the only viable 6.0 midfield option.

        Yep, he was in my team. Tielemans or Luiz (5.5) may be worth a look but both plays deeper, and I don't think either will be nailed with Kamara also in the mix in those deeper positions.

      Differential gone. Oh well. More and more people unavoidably converging on the template I guess

      Likely opens up that 5.5m slot for Douglas Luiz.

      Albeit needed most with a Kane and Haaland combo up front.

        He is tempting, I just worry about his gametime. I think he's fairly assured a start (their player of the season for 2022/23) but its a risk with Kamara and Tielemans.

    Bah. As usual, was set on a team, then got to reading the experts and now am questioning everything. Really want Bowen, but not really sure how to fit him in. Anyways…let’er rip.

    Onana
    Shaw - Stones - Estu - Saliba
    Salah - Saka - Bruno - Martinelli
    Haaland - JP

    Areola, Baldock, Mubama, Anderson

      Good team. Fk the 'experts' pick your own 15. I wouldn't go double United at the back this early. Onana unproven in PL, Shaw is proven. If you're getting Bowen then for Martinelli who doesn't look as nailed as last season but looks good all the samem

        I’m thinking of going back to Trossard and a second 4.5 forward (Balogun if he signs in time, otherwise I’m oversubscribed on Arsenal). Pickford or Leno instead of Onana.

    Turner, Chukwuemeka, Beyer, Baldock

    So....i guess Richi is #1 striker for Spurs....and i need 0.5 to upgrade Eze into him.
    A. Stones-> Saliba
    B. Onana-> Pickford/Jackstone

    Or just swap:
    C. Jackson-> Richi
