      I think today proved that Trippier is worth holding if you can so would look elsewhere for the funds. I have both Trippier and Saka which I’m happy with but on current form would rather keep the former if I only had to pick one

    I know money is a thing, but honestly Trippier is such a fantastic FPL asset.

    In the "defensive" games he gets the clean sheets, in the more open games, assists, and always rakes in the bonuses.

    One of my favourite players to own. Andersen is doing similar but unfortunately his YC cost him 3pts today, plonker.

    I’m at the point now with football that I genuinely think these ‘mistakes’ are made on purpose to create more debate and people talking about it, which possibly, somehow generates more revenue for the association.

    It happens to often now and to me, is becoming obvious there is an alterior motive.

    VAR recordings showed clearly ball was over the line and clearly Gordons hands were on Gabriels back. So there were 2 60/50 clear situations to cancel goal and still they managed to give goal?! xD

    My simple question is if VAR is just to see what situations should be turned around and troll? What is the meaning of this? Confused af

    Raya was awful in that situation. Missed the ball. Poor goalkeeping.

        First it was a bit funny. Now it seems the whole system needs to be investigated and assessed. There are clear nonsense mistakes, but more importantly, these “mistakes” seem to be made up or these decision makings are influenced and interfered by someone.

      Still not clear enough about the ball crossing the line imo.
      It's undoubtedly very close, but not conclusive enough - would fall into the realms of 'umpire's call' if it were down to cricketing calls.

      You could definitely argue Gabriel was potentially fouled, but he technically didn't have possession of the ball and was there to be won. That kind of stuff happens frequently so it's another 50/50 call but not clear and obvious.
      If it was disallowed on-field, then it wouldn't have been overturned.

      It was not clear whether the ball had or hadn’t crossed the line, the offside was inconclusive and it would be an unbelievably soft “foul” to give.

      Arsenal fans have gone from invincibles to insufferables, the meltdowns (inluding Arteta) are pathetic.

      Ball didn't look out from the angles on TV. I would say that as I'm a Geordie.

      The referee let a lot of pushes go in the match notably Gabriel persistently on Wilson and a blatant push by Havertz. Not doubt there are examples of others by Newcastle players as well. I thought this was probably the only debatable reason to try and disallow the goal.

      VAR spent a long time trying to find a reason to disallow the goal. The fact is that there wasn't sufficient evidence to suggest that the on field officials were wrong.

      Personally I thought the referee was hopeless in general, with incorrect decisions against both teams. Stopping Newcastle from taking a throw in to allow Rice tie his shoelaces was just embarrassing. It's not an under 8s match.
