Merry Christmas everyone! A big thank you to scout for all their hard work.

Do we have any clarity on fresh press conference quotes over Christmas and boxing day please? Will there be anything new on Haaland from Pep before Everton?

    I'll be playing Bowen

Bringing TAA in for Tsmi implies that fitting Haaland back in when he's fit will be challenging. Should I proceed with it and address the issue when it arises, or consider replacing Tsmi with a player in the same price bracket?

It's fine because you sell Salah to fund Haaland.

I have the same decision to make and the choices of same bracket are
      Gusto / Colwill
      Pinnock
      Konsa

TAA looks interesting. But it needs -4 and downgrade if I need Haaland on GW20.

    Areola
    Gabriel, Colwill, Trippier
    Salah, Saka, Son, Gordon
    Solanke, Alvarez, Watkins

    (Turner, Bowen, Tsimikas*, Lascelles*)

With 2FT + 1.8 itb, would you change anything with the following plan?

    GW19: Tsimikas > Konsa
    GW20: Alvarez + Son > Haaland + Chuckwuemeka

Watkins (mun) Solanke (FUL) Archer (LUT)

Areola (ars); Taylor (LIV), Tsimi*, Palmer*

Different story at SJP. Only Sterling has scored against them there since Darwin's brace in August. A home game against an indifferent Forest side is as good as it gets for Newcastle. I can understand not buying him now, but selling him before GW19 is way too risky

Have no bench this week and 10 players if Haaland not fit.

Defence is Porro, Gabriel, Lascelles, Tsimikas, Lamptey (1.2 ITB)

    Tsimikas to:

No no, far from it. Burnley under Kompany like to keep the ball and play their way through the phases, even against good pressing sides.

I must add that they have gone more pragmatic over the last couple of months or so, but still they aren't as accomplished in sitting really deep and blocking teams out as the vintage Burnley teams of the past. Imo, the only potential risk with a Salah captaincy is an unexpected rotation

    WCing in GW20

What should I use my FT for?

3.0 in the bank. 1 free transfer for one week player

Totally agree, Saka is pretty overrated like most of the other English players.

But from FPL point of view, he is pretty much essential and nailed in Arteta's system, therefore, the safest option if you really want an Arse in your team.

I think, Odegaard is the best player in their squad, but maybe not so much for the game.

He already dropped, not gonna drop again so soon. Ppl shipped him out because of other price changes impacting purchase options.

    better move

    b. Andersen to Doughty

      Neither enticing moves, I refrain

Underwhelming transfers to consider. Even though Adingra is away to AFCON from 21, I would hold for the next 2.

Adingra looked wasted and may be benched anyway

Tbh he should have been rested a while ago but continues to play. He has started every game since GW8 including international and European midweek fixtures. Subbed at half time may have given the rest he needed and Mitoma is injured so he will likely start again

    Dubravka (Areola)
    Trippier Porro Gabriel (Colwill) (Taylor)
    Salah Saka Son Gordon (Palmer)
    Watkins Solanke Archer

1 FT and 6.2 itb, would you roll here?

Tempted by Trent but it gives me a benching headache and I can't get Haaland back next week if he's fit...

Not too concerned about taking a hit if necessary to bring in Haaland in GW20…….but I really need to move James out in order to field 11 in GW19. Have TAA Porro Gabriel Dubravka Lascelles, no City.

Ruben Dias an option or will he be rotated like the rest?
