I thought Werner was meant to be quick? He's completely out of his depth in the premier league. Such a strange signing

No, no you haven't watched him play mate. He's like Mbappe and Messi in one. You just haven't watched him play.

Because Walker arguably the fastest player in the league got in front of him? Overall I do agree with you though, as a Chelsea fan he was never able to outpace defenders the way I expected.

I think it would have been an assist. The keeper didn't control the ball, and it fell in Ake's path. But, whatever. Kev impacts matches. Very obviously a playmaker.

Pep has no reason to start (risk) KDB at home against a poor Burnley side. City can beat them without him. Brentford away may be the game that Pep starts him.

There's also sentimental reasons to start a player at home. Gets the crowed going and excited.

I don't think it's about "Need". It's about rehabilitation so he's ready for the UCL

What? If he's fit he plays. If he's fit where is the risk?. He's got to build minutes up somehow and Burnley is a great game to do it in. We shall see

I agree, he's not going to be chasing the ball, he's going to be looking at 11 men in front of him trying to unlock a defence.

Less end to end, more creativity.

I'm talking myself in and out of getting him every 5 mins

I'm really worried, I feel like captaining any of the City players is like rolling the dice.

All of them might not start or any one of them could Haul.

I wonder if a punt on Watkins at home is a safer choice?

Curious of where people's heads at

    1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years
      1 year, 11 months ago

Much in the same line of thought. I didn't captain Foden last week although I'm still tempted to despite no returns then or today, may end up just punting on Toney though

    2. Yozzer
      • 8 Years
      1 year, 11 months ago

Only city player I would captain is Kev. I ain't going near Foden or Alvarez.

I will probably go with Bowen and pray if not. I don't think there are any standouts. Some people are even looking at Richi which shows how limited the options are

      1. d1g2w3
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 16 Years

Yeah, playing the numbers game, KDB gets 0-60 minutes and that's less time to make an impact.

I don't have foden, I have BSilva and that's not even a good choice.

For me, Alvarez is the only option, as he's the only recognized forward.

I might stay away from city too, not because of the lack of potential, but any one of them could be 1 points or 20.

I would happy take a steady 10 points x2 captain

    BSilva/KDB Rodri
    KDB/BSilva
    Foden Doku
    Alvarez

KDB and BSilva rotating with KDB in a more free role. jack g coming in for Doku
