    A. Palmer to Diaz (benching odegaard/Watkins)
    B. Richarlison to Jota (benching Palmer)

    Either worth it for free?

Shall I do Gordon out for Jota? Really don’t want to miss out on the great Gordon fixture but he does have Arsenal away on BGW.

Porro, Bowen & Solanke > Jota, Darwin & Bradley for -4pts

    Will give 6 x doublers (3 x Man City, 3 x Liverpool)

1 x FT for GW26 will get XI starters

If it's affordable go for it.

Any reason why Ake is so much more popular than Walker, other than price?

Walker has had 2 rests in the past 3 GWs, played 90 mins in every other PL game before that (ex GW20)..

Ake has not had a rest since GW16 and is surely due one with City playing 5 games in 2 weeks between 10 and 24 Feb.

    What gives?

    1. SouthCoastSaint

        Walker overlaps tho ...

Especially if Foden is deployed on the left wing with Haaland and Alvarez and KDB pulling strings in the pocket...

Fluid football as it's a back to back brace for Kev.

With the injury he's the left footed centre back I think.

It's probably because there's most talk about him.

I've had Walker since gw17 and no Man City defender is fine.

I'm switching him up to big Kev da Belgium.

      1. Utopsis
        • 5 Years

Akanji and Lewis can play inverted from LB as well though?

Have a horrible team at the moment with 5 injured/out of favor players. Somehow managed a green arrow last 5 GWs by ignoring the keeper position altogethe, but where should I go from here with no Liverpool players?

    A) TAA + Palmer —> Bradley + Jota (-4)
    B) TAA + Palmer —> VVD + Diaz (-4)
    C) TAA + Palmer + Sanchez —> Bradley + Jota + Alisson (-8)
    D) TAA + Palmer + Gross —> Bradley + Jota + Diaz (-8)

    Cheers!

    Turner**
    TAA** - Trippier - Saliba
    Saka - Foden - Gross - Palmer
    Haaland - Watkins - Alvarez

    (Sanchez**) (Porro** - Chukwuemeka ** - Taylor) - 1FT

Of those alternatives: C. The goalkeeper-hit will sure pay of, if Alisson just turns up twice during GW25.

That said, what's your plan for 26. Could be a problem with triple Liverpool and that bench of yours...

      1. Ibralicious
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 10 months ago

        - No Keeper -
        Trippier - Saliba - Taylor
        Saka - Foden - Gross - X
        Haaland - Watkins - Alvarez

Probably Jota to X or get Areola in and field 10 either way.

If I do D then it's gotta be a FH

Interesting. Would certainly be tempted with Flekken's recent form, if he wasn't facing the two best teams in the league this GW. Pretty much negates it to a SGW score at that point, and West Ham in 26 not being a sure-thing CS type of fixture either.

Agreed, but maybe we should just eliminate CSs as a topic all together this season 🙂 I think Flekkens save points in those hard games might match the possible CSs for Alisson

I have the exact amount to go -8 for Palmer, Trent, Alvarez > KDB, Ake, Darwin.

Yes I know Alvarez has a double but I don't see him getting much minutes and having returns I would much rather get rid of him and go Darwin.

I own Alvarez and can’t sell due to other fires.

      Reg plays Saturday and Tuesday.

Luton play Sunday and Wednesday so nothing in it.

It's advantage to Liverpool players, except they've got to eat their chicken and pasta for breakfast on Saturday am.

On the basis of no early routine then Doughty probably edges Reg.
