    Hey Tom

    Team:
    Dubravska
    Gabriel-Estupinan-Trippier
    Saka-KdB-DouglasLuiz-Palmer
    Haaland-Watkins-solanke
    Bench: Areola-Zabarnyi-Hwang-Taylor

2ft this week and chasing 40pts in my mini league. Looking to dead-end in gw34 and wc in 35 as advised.

What do you think about the following sequence, what would you rather do/improve
    Gw31: Kdb-Watkins > Salah-Cunha
    Gw32: Hwang > Bereton
    Gw33: Trip > AitNouri
    Gw34: Douglas luiz > Jota/Odegaard
(10 doublers and 1,5 itb so a bit of flexibility in the prices but not enough to keep Trippier for instance)

    Thank you !!

Thoughts on this WC team? FH 34 and BB 37. 0.0 ITB. Wouldn’t need Martinez for a couple of weeks, and Havertz could go to Gordon if he doesn’t perform.

    Petrovic, Dubravka
    Gabriel, Akanji, Martinez, Gusto, Bradley
    Salah, Saka, Son, Palmer, Havertz
    Haaland, Isak, Muniz

    Thanks

Looks good to me. I’m sure you know the rotation risks that come with some of those defenders, but if you’re happy to ride with them then g2g

    Start one this GW..

    A - Gibbs-White
    B - Muniz

I will likely have a Forest defender coming in for Gusto so wondering if I’m better to bench Muniz and hope for the Forest win/clean sheet

Muniz or Semenyo? On WC and will BB in 34. Could have both but think I’ll keep that 2nd striker spot for Darwin/Toney

After today I think the case for Muniz is weaker until gw35.

Of course he can continue scoring regardless.

On a BB34 I think it's a choice between Palace and the home fixtures over the Bournemouth options.

That might take you in a different direction?

      Mateta or Eze etc.

      1. Thomas Magnum
        • 10 Years

Agreed. Really not sure what to make of Muniz, I still have his bgw haul against Spurs in my mind, but no double when Semenyo/Mateta have one in a week I’ll BB dents his appeal.
Mateta is definitely an option, makes my benching headaches easy in 32&33 as I know I’ll play 5 mids those weeks regardless, so can bench him then. I know Palace don’t score much, but maybe Olise and Eze back again will change that…

Finally settled on this WC draft for now (FH34 BB37). G2G?

    Onana, Petrovic
    Gabriel, Udogie, Gvardiol, Bradley, Branthwaite
    Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer, Garnacho
    Haaland, Isak, Solanke

It was between Darwin and Gusto or Gvardiol and Solanke, decided I trust Solanke more than Darwin

    1. Thomas Magnum

What’s making you trust Solanke more than Darwin? I’m tossing up between the two myself on WC

They have the same number of double digit hauls over the season, despite Darwin playing for a much better team. Solanke is on pens, also got good fixtures and is 0.3 cheaper which allowed me for an upgrade elsewhere

      2. afsr
        • 9 Years

Oh and also Darwin could be taken off early or even rotated, unlike Solanke

Only 2 Spurs for a double double?

I don't like the Bradley pick if he's in your team for the rest of the season and bricking your third Liverpool spot.

Also surely you have to go x6 Pool and Arsenal if wildcarding this week into Luton and Sheffield at home.

    Help please.
I have Gusto Ake and Doughty in my defence (with Gabriel and Zarbanyi).
Do I take a hit to bring in Ait Nouri (and for whom) or hope Gusto or Doughty plays?
I have already taken a hit to bring in Salah so it would mean a minus 8.
    What would you do?

Hit in an Arsenal or Liverpool defender for Doughty.

    Hi Tom,

Having a stinker of a season. Current team:

    Kelleher/ Onana
Udogie, Gabriel, C Richards, Gusto, Lascelles
    Palmer, Saka, Son, Salah, Richarlison
    Wood, Haaland, N Jackson

I had a one week punt on Jackson (didn't work), Richarlison 1 point, Lascelles injured

I can do Jackson to Darwin, or do Richarlison to Havertz to be different. What would you do? I'm chasing and have given up a bit this season.

So with my WC, FH34 and BB37 is clearly the better strategy than vice versa? I haven't kept up to date recently, thanks guys 🙂

    1. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years

I wouldn't say "clearly the vetter strategy" but certainly the more popular option when you factor in teams that double in 34 are to different to 35/36 and 37

Depends what your team looks like - there is a train of thought that a WC now allows you to plan for the nicer fixtures outside 34 before you get to 37, but if your team is reasonably well set-up for that then WC close to the BB - I think I am doing FH34 WC35 and BB37. That said, I am currently Haaland-less so depends on how much I worry about not having him before the WC
