Watkins to Darwin for a hit? Chasing and need a differential.

Not sure how much of a differential heading towards 20% ownership but yeah I'd go for it especially with the DGW coming up

Nobody in my ML has him and hope that most will miss the early deadline n fact Watkins is injured.

Almost settled on my WC now I think - BB34 FH37

    Pre WC:

    Dubravka
    Gabriel Taylor Estu (Branth Doughty*)
    Salah Son Madds Foden Palmer
    Watkins* Toney (Morris)

    Post WC:

    Dubravka (Neto)
    Gabriel Gvardiol RAN (Branth Gusto)
    Salah Son Havertz Palmer Diaz
    Haaland Solanke (Mateta)

Main things I'm still unsure on - Havertz over Saka and Mateta.

Any advice is appreciated, I still haven't pulled the trigger yet as I'm 50/50 on whether to hold

    1. Bleh
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 8 months ago

I quite like the Havertz pick, nice differential over Saka without going too extreme.

I think Mateta’s next two are very difficult, prefer Muniz from that price bracket with a view to switch to Mateta for the DGW.

      1. RealSocialDads
        • 9 Years
        1 year, 8 months ago

Don't think Mateta needs to start any of his next two with the rest of the front 8 so strong, he's mostly there just for the DGW hence going him over Muniz

Watkins > Darwin FT done. Will this be enough to get me through this week? Bench non-existent.

Dubravka

    Saliba, Gabriel, Kerkez

Salah, Saka, Foden, Palmer

    Haaland, Darwin, Solanke

    (Areola*, Gusto*, Lascelles*, Gordon*)

Plan is to WC35 and BB37.

    1. Bubbles1985

      1. Bleh
        • 9 Years

Building for GW34. Already have 3 Arsenal and 2 Liverpool now, those are the teams most people on FH will target I think.

Same as me, although I plan to BB34 and then WC35 to buy bench fodder.

Just wondering why so many are opting for BB37 over 34...

BB34 could still happen, not ruling it out yet! Depends what my bench situation looks like then, wouldn’t be hitting it this week for example 🙂

Best move here? Will WC35/36 and BB37.

    A) Kluivert -> Sarabia (bench Watkins this week)
    B) Watkins -> Toney
    C) Watkins -> cheap forward (Muniz/Mateta)
    D) C + Kluivert -> Havertz (-4)
    E) Save FT

    Kelleher
    Gabriel, Bradley, Zabarnyi
    Salah, Saka, Foden, Palmer

Mateta for the home fixtures of you can bench him till gw33, or Cunha for the dgw34.

Muniz the better pick in isolation, especially after gw34.

          Fair.

    C) Watkins & Solanke to Semenyo & Haaland (-4).
    D) Foden to Havertz

    Solanke - Haaland

    Areola - Archer - Zabarnyi - Taylor.

    A) KDB + Saliba + VVD > Salah + 9.0 left for two defenders. Probably would be Bradley/Ait Nouri. This would be a for hit. Thoughts?

Have WC and BB left. Will WC in 35.

What's the best strategy to see out the season? Assume CHE v TOT DGW36.

    A.
    GW34 - 11 DGW players
GW35 - WC (no LIV or ARS)
GW36 - 6 DGW from CHE and TOT.
GW37 - Bench Boost, 15 DGW players (3 x MCI, MUN, CHE, TOT, NEW), roll transfer
GW38 - 2FT to bring in LIV and ARS. Will need to take a hit to bring in Salah and Saka.

    B.
GW34 - Bench Boost with 12 DGW players plus Haaland, Palmer and Konsa.
    GW35 - WC (1 LIV, 2 ARS)
    GW36 - 5 DGW (3 x CHE, 2 x TOT)
    GW37 - 11 DGW, roll transfer
GW38 - 2FT to bring in Salah and Darwin (will already have Saka and Gabriel). Better and more balanced team for GW38 than option A.
