Had reached rank 372. Drop to 4000+ as forgot deadline in gw36 and missed out on getting haaland. This gw took a gamble on isak c.
Would have finished top 100 or just outside had i known there was a Friday game last gw.
And boring boring man city win the title again. Nothing to play for in gw38. A disappointing end to the season fpl and football wise.
See u in August. Have the cl final and the Euros to look forward now

At 372 ranks there are absolutely no excuses for missing deadlines. Extreme lollygagging!

Spend the summer learning lessons, some pretty big mistakes you’ll need to cut out of your game.

That match was the nail in the coffin for me, that I don’t like football anymore.

Football is nothing without the fans, and that was atrocious from Spurs’ crop.
You would not have had previous generations of fans doing what they just did for 90 minutes.

Wanting your team to lose to spite your neighbours when champions league qualification is on the line is as "small club mentality" as it gets.

No point getting angry about it, Spurs aren't worth the energy.

Let’s be honest, most people don’t watch Premier League for the fans.
Yes the league is no doubt the best league in Europe but in terms of atmosphere it’s rather underwhelming.
Fans in many leagues in continental Europe make much more noise.

I know but I didn’t expect that, what topped it off for me was when they started chanting once City got their second.

Could KIND OF understand if Spurs had nothing to play for but still, zero sportmanship

I've heard disparaging comments on the atmosphere at our Premiership matches before...we don't need cheerleaders shouting over the stadium speakers during the game...thank goodness or have drums constantly beating a rythem to enjoy a game...

          Typical from a local.

Dude, it's not about "drums" you just have to go around. Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Poland, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium.... feck almost everywhere! Next level fans.

What the English game had that was truly and genuinely English was the hooligan scene, the football firms. Old school shaite. But that's gone as well with this plastic football era.

…and they still can’t create atmosphere and apart from sporadic simple chants are quiet for the most of the game.

They are too busy watching the quality football. I suppose shouting out passes the time when the match is garbage.

as a football fan I hope they don't amount to anything but only if that means its because they aren't found guilty of anything. Nobody wants greats being tainted with cheating labels. Lance Armstrong was a disaster for cycling, nobody rejoiced at finding out he was guilty. This isn't on that scale imo but we shouldn't be hoping winners are found guilty of cheating because they dominate.

No one rejoiced that Armstrong was guilty. But I suspect everyone was pleased that justice was done.

I'm not hoping City are found guilty because they dominate. I'm hoping that the 115 charges amount to something and aren't just "made to go away". Maybe they are innocent, but no smoke without fire and all that...

Barcelona and Real Madrid are the biggest cheats in football, they invented financial doping.

Barcelona buying off the league refs and probably a few champions league ones to.

Probably the worst sending off in champions league history that ruined Arsenal's chance of a UCL.

What do we make of Spurs assets going into the final gw? Worth holding for SHU away because it’s great on paper or moving them out because of recent form?

Barring injuries, nailed on with 9 of my 11:
      Raya
      Gabriel Porro Gvardiol
      Palmer Havertz Foden
      Haaland N. Jackson

Currently going back and forth between Gordon and Isak > Salah and bench fodder with Son as 7th attacker or Son and Isak > Salah and Gakpo and benching Gordon. Feel like LIV will have goals at home in Klopp’s last game. Just can’t get a read on what to expect from Spurs.

Hold on to attacking assets, but avoid defence as SHU can score at home.

I know people don't like them because they're successful and the FFP charges etc but at the end of the day fair play to City that is 8 league wins in a row, unbeaten in the league since 16th December. Arsenal have been excellent this season but sometimes you just have to hold your hands up. Not over yet of course but if City do make it 9 wins in a row you just cannot compete with that standard.

They'd probably go on and win half a dozen more titles before any decision is made, which is sad. Disqualifying a title would be monumental.

I think this was an awfully boring game again.

Spurs looked tired and done. City not great as well. And no support from the stands.

A mirror of the whole Premier League. Totally overrated, too expensive and poor atmosphere. Like with Klopp, feels like there is nothing left in the tank.

Same with this game. Son is done, KDB as well. If Salah goes, there will only be Haaland, but he might leave soon as well (Real). Hopefully, players like Saka, Gordon and Palmer will go up to 11 mio. Gvardiol 8 mio. Otherwise, the template will be around 90 mio again and boring as tonight.
