Thoughts on TC Salah, Ward let in 7 goals in 135 mins.

Or BB, hate the chip usually have more points on bench any week apart from the dgw I go with,

    Flappy, Enzo, Milenkovic, Robinson

Triple captain makes more sense than bench boost in my opinion, only Fabianski has a top fixture out of your subs.

My only concern would be an early sub if Pool are comfortably winning, given the fixture congestion and the fact that Mo is not likely to be benched

Hard to say without knowing team structure/money ITB/future plans. Cunha will eventually need to be moved on once suspension kicks in, but doesn’t feel urgent ditching him before United at home. Same with Pedro this week hosting a leaky Brentford back line and cheap enough to potentially be hidden on your bench for tougher matches. Solanke has the trickiest fixture this week and is at a closer price point to Isak, which might be better for your team structure if your money’s tighter, but has Wolves and Newcastle at home next two gws, both of which concede a fair few, especially on the road. My honest instinct might be to just roll and bring in Isak for Cunha when his suspension kicks in/when Cunha plays Forest in gw 20, whichever comes first. Again, though, don’t know exactly how your team looks/what your other plans are, so hard to say for sure.

I personally like gaining the extra information when the fixtures are this close together, so I would probably roll and play Rogers, but if you’re wanting to gamble and chase upside, I certainly understand going for A (or bigger roll of the dice/bigger upside chase and go Jota) because Leicester at home is probably the best fixture in the league at the moment, and the returns could be huge.

      1. Honker Muddlefoot
        • 6 Years

If you stand to lose value by holding Saka through the deadline if he’s projected to drop again, though, I’d probably just pick the Liverpool attacker I liked best and back them. The fixtures are good and they have the likely double coming up soon.

I went D and benched Rogers.

Didn’t consider Spurs, not interested xMins stink.

Diaz will be back on the wing and low xG again now with Jota back as 9. Also and mins risk.

Ode was another floated around by some, but his output has been so bad. Also very short sighted by Ipswich people forgot to look at fixtures thereafter.

Is Trent + Jota a possibility for your team, or already on double LIV? If you’re on a 1 week punt, that’s the one that feels like it has the very highest upside to me, and if Jota plays an hour, it could return big… but it’s also riskier with Diogo just back from injury. Depends on your risk appetite. Choice B feels the safest play to me out of the options you listed.

I’m in a similar BJ boat. Just don’t feel confident enough in his minutes at the moment, so I would probably play Rogers. I know Newcastle is coming off of back to back cleans, but right before playing the two promoted clubs, they conceded 4 to Brentford, 3 to Liverpool, and 2 to West Ham, so it feels like Villa could get some scoring chances.

    TAA - Hall - Colwill
    Salah - Foden - Palmer - Bruno
    Isak - Raul - Wissa

I wouldn't get Bowen. This week is Southampton but then Liverpool and Man City after. (although city is probably a good fixture now).

I'd probably go Odegaard, but I wouldn't be too confident about it. Jota is always a rotation risk unfortunately.

Neither right now, but Foden at least seems to be playing full games at the moment.

I'd take out Saka. It looks like he'll be out for months. You don't have to hurry if your team is ok for this week though but he will keep dropping in value.

    A) Saka and Cunha to Sarr and Isak (-4)
    B) Saka to Sarr

I quite like A, but only if you are playing both of them this week.

That's the issue, I'd then be benching Rogers again!
        Maybe I roll....

Isak is the priority so A.

I would probably go B, and then bring in Isak next gw for free. Cunha could very easily return (or double return) against Utd at home, and you’re giving back one of Isak’s returns anyway by taking the hit, so unless you think Isak ends up with 2 returns more than Cunha this week, I’d just wait the gw and save the points.
