After a record day for traffic on the site, we’re expecting a further surge for this morning’s crunch before deadline. As a result, we’ve opened our Surgery Chatroom nice and early to help relieve the pressure on comments and give you the option of real-time feedback.

A reminder to our members that the members area has its own domain at members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk should we experience any issues on the main site this morning.

The wait for the new season is almost over, the urge to carry out last minute tinkering building. We’ll follow this up with the first Pre-amble of the season and there we’re over to the Dugout Discussion just before the fist kick-off at 3pm. Exciting.

              I would hit the X of Simpson, Fellaini, Allen and Holt.

              Quick replacements would include:
              Simpson > Santon (if you want NEW)
              Fell + Allen > Noble + Hoilett or Ramires
              Holt > Cisse/Graham or Petric

              Holt (2nd season, in a poor side with 4 hard fixtures in 6)

              Allen will sit too deep to probavly have any real impact. Dembs is an interesting one but I would go with Graham or Petric over Holt

            That is certainly not the first time I have heard that. But they will all start and will be in the top few defenders at the end of the season. I will change this as the season goes on. But I feel all the rest of the team is still good.

            The thing I don't like about my defence is the gamble on big hitters - Clichy and Rafael are not nailed on, but still I'd rather Mata -> Pienaar and Torres -> RVP / Rooney from GW2 on :).

        Nasri and tevez is a ridiculous amount of firepower for 17.5 when you take a step back & look at it... I dont think eithercare in danger of serious rotation in the short term, can reassess duringthe international break after GW3

        Is Marc Wilson still nailed on for Stoke? Read a week ago that they were keen on signing a LB on loan but don't know whether that deal is dead. I've got Cuellar in at the moment but thinking about swapping them for rotation purposes.
