After a record day for traffic on the site, we’re expecting a further surge for this morning’s crunch before deadline. As a result, we’ve opened our Surgery Chatroom nice and early to help relieve the pressure on comments and give you the option of real-time feedback.

A reminder to our members that the members area has its own domain at members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk should we experience any issues on the main site this morning.

The wait for the new season is almost over, the urge to carry out last minute tinkering building. We’ll follow this up with the first Pre-amble of the season and there we’re over to the Dugout Discussion just before the fist kick-off at 3pm. Exciting.

    Just made a reckless change to my team. Any thoughts on this game-plan? Not a huge fan of so much in the bank, but RVP/Rooney(c) in GW2 could be too good to miss out on!

        I think you have to play Guthrie in a DGW - should get at least 4-5 points minimum, meaning Graham would have to score to beat him. Graham only scored 3 goals away from home last season.

      6 is excessive. I have five. It's worth taking a 4 point hit next gameweek. Early season so it's doubtful that someone like Torres will be rested. I always take 4 points on a double gameweek and it works for me.

      I have both and had no doubt in picking Graham. As someone else pointed out if that is the case why have Noble at all, just pick Guthrie or another 4.5 and save a precious 0.5!
