All of us here at Fantasy Football Scout would like to wish a very merry Christmas to our readers and their loved ones.

We’re taking a brief pause from the editorial content (and the self-flagellation after bringing in Bruno Fernandes early) to spend time with our loved ones, but we’re not forgetting the looming FPL deadline.

We’ve got more Gameweek 18 articles to come over the the next 24 hours, including the Scout Picks, Captain Sensible and a piece from Lateriser.

We hope to bring you a final team news round-up, too, should anything of note emerge late.

Editorial content will resume tonight, while the predicted line-ups will be finalised, as well.

Until then, we’d like to extend a huge thank you for your continued support of the site throughout 2025.

There’ll be a more prolonged retrospective in the traditional New Year’s message but, from all at Fantasy Football Scout, we wish you a very happy holidays.

        Because of the amount of minutes and change of positioning he’s dealing with.

      Once they get defenders back he's competing with Tonali Bruno G and Joelinton as well as Ramsey and Willock. So longer term his minutes are riskier than Potts

      Depends if he is a set and forget til wildcard or a temporary measure and you'll swap back to 3-5-2 when there are more options (Bruno fit, afcon players back, Palmer minutes etc )

        Any reason? I thought Villa were really poor going forward vs United. Chelsea have James + Gusto covering Rogers LW and unlike Amorim, Maresca has functioning brain cells to recognize and nullify their biggest threat.

        I only have 1 FT but my team is pretty much exactly how I want it to be. Other defenders are Calafiori, Ruben and Senesi starting. I suppose I would bench Senesi away to Brentford if I buy him.

        Probably dumb but with home Wolves and Salah and Szobo out, it feels like a move that has a lot of upside.

    Last gw I chose wrong (benched Andersen) so help me make the decision.

    Play 1 or Keane in with last ft, I probably need Keane or other cheap Def for Andersen/Richards from gw19 anyway since Robson and Andersen have poor fixtures.
