A neck injury could keep John Terry from facing up to Papiss Cisse and company at the Bridge. Chico is a doubt for Swansea as they prepare to host the Hammers, who will be boosted by the fleet feet of new signing Matt Jarvis at the Liberty.

Wojciech Szczesny is a minor doubt for Arsenal’s battle at the Britannia. Sir Alex Ferguson primes Robin Van Persie for a start against Fulham, in the hope that he’ll provide the goals to compensate for the injuries at the back – despite press rumours, the United boss confirms that his array of crocked defenders remain sidelined.

        I prefer Petric too as hes on a hot streak from beginning of Fulhams Pre-season but as you all say Graham has a really good fixture list coming up. In week 3 im going to swap torres for petric as chelsea do not have a game then in week 4 ill decide based on form and fixtures who to stay with between petric and graham again. Thanks for the advice!

    Very concerned about this United defence. Slow start to the season with injuries etc but it's getting to the point that the only one I really like having is Vidic. Rio and Evra are a tad past it, Rafael is attacking but can make a balls of it defensively. Still, at least he's young. Don't think Jones, Smalling and Buttner are enough back up. Wish we had signed a bigger defensive talent this year!

      I reckon it depends on how well rvp, roon and kag etc click. last year they had to grind out alot of low scoring wins even though they had vidic and ferd both out for much of the season. If the forwards score hatfuls then the defence can leak plenty and saf won't be too bothered.

      There's nothing wrong with the defence, apart from Evra. We've signed Buttner to give him a breather from time to time and provide somewhat healthy competition. Jones is young, he's hardly going to be the finished article now. Evans was great last season and is almost back. Smalling is great too, improving all the time. We still kept the most cleansheets last season without Vidic...

        Concerned about the aging really but I forgot about Evans. I'm not expecting those guys to be the finished article yet, just concerned that as the likes of Rio, Evra and Vidic get on injuries become a bigger threat and the younger guys may not be able to shoulder all that well. However, I did forget about Evans so that was my bad.

            Kagawa and Powell are attacking mids. Scholesy is a class act but old obviously so it comes down to Clevs or Ando! I actually liked Anderson an awful lot when he signed I just want him to deliver on it. Cleverly is good though.
