With so many new statistics available in our Members section this season, the ability to compare players’ performances from last time round becomes handier than ever. Ahead of Norwich’s home clash against West Ham this weekend, we cast an eye on the Canaries midfield and, bypassing their top scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player Robert Snodgrass, delve deeper into the displays of Anthony Pilkington instead:

Pilkington was a frustrating pick last season. Too often susceptible to Paul Lambert’s rotation policy at Carrow Road, the left winger started just 23 games and racked up a total of 1975 minutes but still managed to find the net on eight occasions. This time round, Chris Hughton has installed him as a key figure in the Norwich starting XI, with Pilkington playing every minutes of the club’s three matches so far – while he’s yet to find the net, Pilkington has provided an assist and, as the figures suggest, his potential for attacking returns has definitely taken a turn for the better.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Yes. Think of it this way. He was injured, so people were selling him - 30,000 or so of them - so his accumulated NTI as of yesterday was -30,000. Today, his flag gets removed, so his NTI counter is reset to zero. So yesterday he was -30k, today 0 - So FISO calculates his movement today as +30k.

        Clear? As mud.

    Team :

    DDG, Federici
A Cole, Hughes, Rangel, Lescott, McCartney
    Bale, Michu, Nasri, Kacanikilic, Kagawa
    Tevez, Torres, Graham

    0.5m in the bank.

3 of these are injured : Cole, McCartney and Kagawa
    Kacanikilic is unlikely to start.

Do I really HAVE to make any changes? I don't want to. I feel 14 (except Fed) can return decent points this week, so I don't mind the three injuries. Plus Cole and McCartney could come back.

If you aren't carding until January why ask now? And if this is for now you have a starting 3-3-2 which are identical between teams so only need to take a 4 pt hit followed by weekly transfers rather than wasting the card

There are no guarantees Sagna will 1) returned to action asap, 2) will win back his place.

Risk: We have a non-playing defender in two-three gamweeks, he keeps rising, sell for .3-4 profit
Reward: He keeps playing for another two months before finally he is proven a too big a liability, now sells for .5-6

        Worth taking?

TBF, he hasn't looked the liability of last year, been very solid. I watched the game against LIV and he was good. The result of a decent pre-season I bet.

Sagna shouldn't expect to walk straight back in, but he probably will.
