Just the solitary Premier League fixture today, as Reading host Tottenham Hotspur with both sides looking for their first win of the campaign. The Dugout Discussion is open, and is the place to interact with your fellow fantasy managers as the events at the Madejski Stadium unfold. The team news is in, and here’s how the sides line-up…

Reading XI: McCarthy, Gunter, Gorkss, Pearce, Hartel, McCleary, Karacan, Leigertwood, McAnuff, Guthrie, Pogrebnyak.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Naughton, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Bale, Defoe.

It’s the men between the sticks that grab the headline team news, as Alex McCarthy replaces Adam Federici (injured) for the Royals, but Brad Friedel keeps Spurs’ new-signing Hugo Lloris at bay on the substitutes bench.

Elsewhere, Clint Dempsey and Emmanuel Adebayor are also on the visitors’ bench, and Kyle Naughton replaces Benoit Assou-Ekotto at left-back.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

Somebody on here earlier had bets on both Defoe and Bale to score, and correct score of 2-1 and 3-1.

    Is he still around?

Not good for Reading fans: You're losing 3-0, at home, to Spurs, and it could/should be 6-0. And Bale can even score - with his wrong foot.

No, only room for one striker in AVB's system, like the Torres / Drogba situation with Chelsea.

Still not convinced Bale is worth the price tag at the moment. One scuffed shot aside, he didn't do a whole lot today.

Comes central (maybe not good for spurs, but fpl wise) Has had enough shots in the last 4 to justify a goal and some promise for the future.

How has the Tottenham defence looked? I am happy with my midfielders and forwards, besides all of Spurs' attacking assets face a risk of rotation and I'm not convinced after one game against a poor Reading side.

Hard to say, as the Reading attack wasn't overly threating. BAE certainly adds to it, I thought Naughton was pretty average and gave away a soft foul or two.

    WC kneejerk-a-go-go:

    Foster, Bego
    Baines, Rafa, Demel, Gibbs, Hughes
    Cazorla, Hazard, Sterling, Kagawa, Nolan
    Aguero, Berba, Defoe

    you know it makes sense.

i know, cause i dont know what to do with my team now(seems like i will save FT)

        i had 3 options

        1.Bale+lambert(10pts so far)

        2.Morrison+Jelavic(2pts so far)

        3.Ben Arfa+Berbatov

hopefully i didnt make big mistake by selecting jelly+morrison but like you said,i fancy both of them to do well at long runs
