Just the solitary Premier League fixture today, as Reading host Tottenham Hotspur with both sides looking for their first win of the campaign. The Dugout Discussion is open, and is the place to interact with your fellow fantasy managers as the events at the Madejski Stadium unfold. The team news is in, and here’s how the sides line-up…

Reading XI: McCarthy, Gunter, Gorkss, Pearce, Hartel, McCleary, Karacan, Leigertwood, McAnuff, Guthrie, Pogrebnyak.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Vertonghen, Naughton, Sandro, Dembele, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Bale, Defoe.

It’s the men between the sticks that grab the headline team news, as Alex McCarthy replaces Adam Federici (injured) for the Royals, but Brad Friedel keeps Spurs’ new-signing Hugo Lloris at bay on the substitutes bench.

Elsewhere, Clint Dempsey and Emmanuel Adebayor are also on the visitors’ bench, and Kyle Naughton replaces Benoit Assou-Ekotto at left-back.

      Lennon would be a good differential. The play seems to revolve around him. Both Sigurdsson and Dembele makes run\passes more towards the right than the left, bringing Lennon more into the game than Bale.

    Pratik, with reference to your United question, if Vidic + Rio stay fit, cleansheets will come. They love playing alongside each other. If Evra does not start, the cleansheets will come.

    If you are wildcarding, don't get in a United defender but do not give this priority.

      I happen to be a big believer in fixtures. Just think they will find clean sheets much more tough to get. And there is no way Evra is gonna sit out of the games. Buttner is not first choice already.

      But I agree, it's not worth a hit at all.

    Currently sitting on 19 points. Need a Jelavic hattrick and a 2 goals from Fellaini because i took a -4pt hit to bring in RVP so had to downgrade Bale who scored. Urgh disastorous week.

      The good part is that everyone hasn't pulled more than a 20 point lead at max. I'm on 30 myself and not too worries because not many are doing well. A good GW to have a low score, imo.

      I would say 100percent since I reckon Defoe starts midweek in the Europa as the loan man.

      Reckon AVB goes 4-4-2 home v Qpr but with Sig or Demps behind Ade in the 442 and Defoe rested to bench.

    I know Demps in place of Ade and Bale in place of Demps is as ideal as it gets, but i like this front 6. Less ball hoggers, better team players. Thoughts?
