Tottenham spring to life at the Madejski to bring the weekend’s action to a close. That gives us the opportunity to delve deeper, plunder the members area data and pick out the points of interest from the nine Premier League encounters so far…
hai please help
I have ade and I'm going to replace him at:
a flecher
b Berbatov
Flecher each team plays better and SUN have one game less
Berbatov has an easier schedule, and shoots a penalty and he is Berbatov
I know the voices are divided so I would like to find out if a and bOpen ControlsSuarez
Open Controls
Lucky finish, I think he hit it onto his other foot
Open Controls
RVP (C) next weekend after a 65min run out Wed?
Open ControlsHe may have to play out 90. Man U are not the good in Europe anymore 🙂
Open ControlsProbably but Spurs and Chelski have better fixture
Open ControlsYes but it's Robin, remember Stamford Bridge last year.
Open Controls
if you had Vorm and Rangel, who would you lose?
a. Vorm>Jussi/Foster
b. Rangel>bench warmer.Open Controlsnobody considering Guzan?seems like men in form and perfect replacemant for DDG/Frederici
jussi bandwagon is hillarious 😆Open ControlsObviously Chris's table has been wrong so far and will be wrong again but: http://premierleaguefantasy.blogspot.ca/p/forecast-goals-per-game.html
West Ham is dead last in expected goals conceded. They only kept 5 clean sheets two years ago and didn't exactly lock it down in the Championship last season.Open Controls
ddg, fed (and to think this looked like a good pairing at the start of the season...)
baines, hangeland, boyce, fabio (and he looked like a good option too...), cueller
hazard, hba, pienaar, michu, marveaux (failed punt)
rvp, tevez, graham
.2 in the bank
i know long term transfer plans don't always work but just tell me how this sounds
this week: thinking ddg + graham > jaask + berb (-4)
next week: fabio > demel (too much west ham defense?)
week after: fed to szczesny
after that: marveaux to guthrie/kac
how does that sound guys? don't think i'll make it long enough to get to the marveaux transfer but thats ok.Open Controlshaha. it hasn't gotten that bad YET.
thanks. is demel + jaask too much whu defense though?Open ControlsNot at the rate that they're keeping cleanies.... I never thought Swansea would keep getting cleanies last year after their good defensive start, but they did... I'd go for it, great defensive form, decent fixtures....
Open ControlsWhen are you getting rid of ddg. I might get rid tonight due to price rises
Open Controls
Ah jayus. I just saw Bale got three bonus points THREE!! for 77 mins.
Cazorla got none for 90 mins.
Bring bacj the old bonus system...
Yes I am bitter about my 4 point hit:
Nasri OUT Hazard IN
Bale OUT Cazorla IN.
Because I felt like I needed a secure captain choice in Cazorla...Open Controlsdont think Caz is a good captain shout, too much of the Modric in him... just IMO
Open ControlsHe was unlucky not to have a few more assists, although your point about Modric has me worried now....
Open Controls
Carzorla got 1 assist in a game where his team score 6.
Very poor comparison.Open ControlsBut he made by far the most passes of any player. Under the old fpl system he would definitely have got a few bonuses.
I think he is way more suited to the Sky game in hindsight.Open Controls
Anyone here planning their WC for a few weeks time? Possibly GW7? I'm hoping I can get around it for a while. My main worry is my team value is appalling and I can't see my players getting any sexier over the coming weeks. I've drafted a WC plan which will allow me to sculpt a decent team. Do you think the GW7 International break will give a lot of chance for increasing Team Value? That might solve my problem...
Open ControlsA lot of people wild-card around then each season and it seems to work well for them.
I am hoping to save my wildcard for a double gameweek or loads of injuries.Open ControlsSaid it before and i'll say it again, international breaks are a poor time to wildcard. Loads of strange results and stars being benched. Just like this week with Chelsea & City drawing and Kagawa & Rvp missing out.
Open ControlsYe but the International break just gone there was a template team bandwagon, Wildcarding in GW7 will mean gaining (hopefully) an advantage on others by completely overhauling your team for the weeks that approach. Plus gain some Team Value (which I'm desperately lacking right now)
I'm not saying I'm definitely going to play it then, I'm just looking ahead and thinking I might like to make several changes in 3 weeks time. It could turn around and I might be happy enough with my team by then but I do want to change the backbone of my team to make it more balanced. Thanks for your advice and thoughts!Open ControlsI don't think you gain team value by wildcarding. Best case scenario, you pick up 1/2 million and that's if you're willing to part with some of the players who did the business the previous week: Your Hazards/Michus/Van Persie etc. You gain team value by picking the right players. (I know that's very helpful)
Open Controls
Good time to do it in terms of making profit, also can cover potential injuries, and it makes the fortnight less tedious!
Open ControlsDid you watch the match yesterday? I missed it, heard Faurlin and Granero looking good
Open Controls
All gameweeks are roughly equally good for making money. The word was that this last gameweek would be the perfect time but we didn't see more double rises than any other gameweek. I'd probably look to start gambling on early money making transfers if I were you though, and then fall back onto the wildcard if it in any week backfired badly with injuries.
Giroud to Berbatov for exampleOpen ControlsYe that would have been a good one to jump on...but I'm not used to playing the Value game. Plus I don't fancy Berbatov just yet fixtures-wise. I feel like a bit of a sucker not gaining Value but I can be quite conservative about my moves. I don't like jumping on bandwagons too often. Thanks for your input!
Open Controls
Which transfers would you prioritise
A) Federici --> Jussi (other keeper is Friedel)
B) Lescott --> Ridgewell/Olsson
C) Graham --> Fletcher/Lambert
Currently leaning towards A and B then C next week.Open Controlsfriedel to jussi/mig/foster and lescott to baines?
if not i'd do B followed by C next week and A the week afterOpen Controlsalready got Baines... thanks for the replies. Going to do Federici out (looks dodgy and is now injured). Will sit on Lescott at least till tomorrow!
Open Controls
Bale got 3 bonus points? what for?
Open ControlsI'm pondering doubling up on Stoke in my WC later on this season. They are unbelievably defensive and miserly. They waste time like no other team. They are sure to get CSs at home to lesser teams. And they're due a swing in form when their fixtures get better. And already we've seen they are well capable of defending against the top teams.
Open Controls
Ok. I'll go with Dimitar.
No Rotation risk with Petric though?Open ControlsPetric will be number one striker when fit 🙂
Open Controls
Wildcard disaster. On 29 points with 27 on the bench. Dropped Bale, Ivanovich & Hangeland. Last minute plumped for Baines, Jenkinson & Lambert over Rafael, Gibbs & Berba. Muppet.
Open Controlsyou benched bale ivanovic and hangeland!? you're insane
Open Controls
going to take a 4pts. hit for a keeper for the next 3-6GWs, till I WC (on the next int. break)
is foster the best choice?
A. rise in value
B. good next 3 fixture (where my other keeper Fed is injured)
C. good chance of CS
DDG will be the one who will be sacrifaced, as I don't want to risk not having a playing keeper 3rd week in a rowOpen ControlsWho are you going to get in ?
Open Controlstorn betweem foster and Jussi
I already have demel though
any advice?
both have good next 3, and rotate well with FedOpen Controlsdont think Foster Fix are as good as everyone thinks. Jussi is a gamble, but may well pay off. Guzan is another option, but again, leaky leaky. my assumption is that actually, there are no good GK choices so go with a cheap one and invest elsewhere. just IMO

I would've loved to have beem on these boards when it was announced RVP wasn't starting. Chaos
Open Controls38 replies to Demi's team news s 😆

I actually thought someone was pulling a prank. It looked a 90's united team with Giggs and Scholes. It's a pity Wigan were so bad, Fergie's tactics could have really backfired.
Open Controls
I would've loved to have been online when it was announced RVP wasn't starting. Chaos
Open ControlsI was really pleased, great gameweek ahead I thought.
Petric, Hazard and Cazorla (C) the points will roll in I thought...Open Controls
Am I crazy to be thinking of spending 4 hard earned points to bring Jaask in as my 2nd keeper?
Open ControlsProbably one shot on target one goal.
Defoe had lots of shots off target.
Plus bonus point for the best scuff of the gameweek...Open Controls
What do people think of Brad Guzan at 4.5? Fed up with De Gea at this stage
Open ControlsRight so Adebayor is out of the question for me!
Which one?
A) Podolski
or
B) Jelavic
Leaning towards Podolski!Open ControlsB) fixtures
Open Controls
57 with Baines to play. cool. Thanks MR bale.
Open Controlscerny to Jaask as a back up to Vorm or dont bother?
Open ControlsLol Cerny...
Open ControlsIf you have nothing better to do and if you like their rotation then fine, but I'd never make that a priority
Open Controlscheers Garg. Look, I have Vorm and Cerny - I'd like to evolve to Jassk/Bego. Looks like a good time to do it, so would you Vorm first or Cerny first?
Open ControlsSell Cerny I think, you might want to have Vorm in case you can't get the other transfer done anytime soon? Jaask looks to have better short term fixtures so I'd get him first
Open Controlsthanks mate. just checked your team. how are you rectifying GK situation?
Open ControlsNo problems.
I've sold De Gea for Foster already, which gives me a three week room to upgrade my second shite keeper to Begovic or whoever I feel like.
Made a bad mistake with my keepers in thinking De Gea wouldn't make any more howlers. Oh well.Open Controlsso you definitely favour WBA keeper over WHU?
Open ControlsFor the short term yes, I wanted the option to hold off with the other one for a few weeks (probably until I wildcard) and I think Foster is the better prospect over that certain period, say 3 weeks or so. Overall there's not much in it, and also I was drunk when I did it....
Open Controls
If all Chelsea mids were healthy, who would most likely take Bertrand's starting spot?
Open ControlsMarin/Moses
Open Controls
Alreet lads! Who's a higher priority to replace? DDG or Fedirici? Got my eye on jaask. Who's price will go down more?
Open ControlsYou there Henry Hill?
Open ControlsYa crouch, hows it going
Open Controls
I had Berbatov on my WC but switched him for Jelavic at the last minute.
So, the Jellyman must be due to score a hatrick!Open ControlsNo, it tends to work the opposite way I'm afraid, like I took Bale out for Hazard and Bale scores. That kind of thing.
Open ControlsI'm praying for a high scoring match, got Pienaar and HBA, counting on them to save my gameweek!
Open ControlsNo, no not HBA!I! 🙂 I hope Everton deliver, though. If not it will be hard to resist the temptation to switch back to Berbatov. Fulham's fixtures are on a par with Everton's so I can see him racking up the points
Open Controls
Ade craps on defoe yet AVB plays defoe. dont get it. Ade is also alot better for Bales prospects. Stupid defoe.
Open Controlswould you start:
a. Vorm H to EVE
or
b. Jaask H to SUNOpen Controls
