you're right on the edge of justifying a wildcard. The one thing stopping me (strangely) is that McCLean has a nice fixture this week, and I'd want rid of him long term though. However, I think newcastle, arsenal, everton have nice enough fixtures for the next few weeks that a smart WC could really see you climb (since you don't have many of them). I'd say do it.
